Great to see you're back, rozee! :jWe missed you too!
Mrs Chatty is fine today. Stuck her in the hen house last night at about 10pm and she walked out right as ninepence this morning at 6.30am.
Busy, busy ATM, but I will return tonight....0 -
Rozee! Rozee! rozee!
How is everythiong, and the wee 'uns?
The insulation is going in my floor today. The builders are fabulous.0 -
Welcome back Rozee.
Well my Scot's Grey looks all perky today after being convinced she's be as stiff as a board this morning.
Must lift my onions that look fine but as if they've stopped with their leaves bent over - give my carrots, that I allus plant inbetween, a bit more space. Supposed to keep each from the fly - but it doesn't, it's just one of those quirky 'rules' of my late father's that I still do, as you do.0 -
Things were getting a bit desperate in the transport department so we went out and bought a car this afternoon.:)
I spotted a one lady owner diesel Zafira with full service history etc, so my thinking went:"We can buy this, see if we like it, and if not we can sell it again, no probs!"
The lady is also a smallholder. She bought the car originally for its ability to either transport 6 kids, or carry 5' bales long ways in the back! :rotfl:
I really wanted a Honda CRV, but I didn't particularly want its petrol consumption.
Right, now, does anyone want a Nissan Primera estate with a brilliant engine and full service history from new? It's very presentable ...er....inside. Those are the good bits.....The bad bits are that it has been written off once and had two minor accidents. It's also had no new parts, other than consumables in its 114 000 mile life, so just about everything is likely fail simultaneously, like the drive shaft that's making noises and the clutch that smells on steep hills....
Do you think I could write a great eBay advert?:rotfl:0 -

There must've been something in the air yesterday! :j
Great minds think alike.:D I pulled my first lot of onions this morning, as they'd keeled-over. The Ailsa Craigs feel like they want to stay in the ground a bit longer though.
Planted my parsnips late to avoid the fly (I hope) Also buried half of them among my huazontle, which is a South American green plant used like broccoli/spinach....well, I throw it in the stir fry. That was mainly because I wanted something there if I decided to scrap the huazontle, but it's OK, if nothing to phone home about....especially from S America.0 -
YAY !!! ROZEE :j
MY LOUNGE LOOKS LIKE A BOMBS HIT IT ! I SERIOUSLY DONT KNOW HOW IM GONNA FIT ALL THIS "DELICTABLE ITEMS FOR POTENTIAL MUGS....SORRY BUYERS" IN MY VAN....:o
