Torrential rain here - so back to more normal weather for us.

Hope that everything goes well LIR. I await some ghastly hospital stuff but haven't heard when yet. Just wish it over & done with.

Congrats on your success Dave & Mrs Dave.

My gardens in a mess not been weeding much this year due to midgies & other stuff.

I got some hens for Mr Teddy to replace those eaten by the Marten. They are a breeders casts offs so only paid £1 each but noticed they have scaly leg mite - so greased up their legs & in isolation just now. God knows what else they may have.
I've had it before & can get tricky to get shut of - scaly leg mite that is.

Going to see a tup tomorrow for buying for my Hedredian ewes that should be bred before they get fat. All my ewes are on the hill & I can see them from down here & can tell how bad the midgies are by how far they've gone up the hill for the breeze - it's a good indicator.

Supposed tobe having someone come to help us put some more windows in but they are being evasive - think they have loads of work on. I don't know if the pair of us can manage this on our own.
Definately not the gut big un - we can't move it........
