    I've been Money Tipped!
Vets been and says everyone looks healthy and i said, well yes, but so did the dead ones when they were alive!

Yes we have rats, but not in the feed! In the feed room and in the old automatic feeders(redundant). My feed is kept in bins! I have traps down but no catches yet.

    So....no news really.

    Plans looking good, rozee :D

I've never been much of a follower of fashion in anything, alfie.
I tend to do my own thing or buy classic so it doesn't go out of fashion. Same goes for clothes.

It's wait & see then, LIR.
It is very strange. It seems to be very selective so, if it's something 'nasty' the chickens are eating, drinking etc. it can only be somewhere that they don't all get to but some do. Or, that the particular birds pigged themselves on more than the others.
Likewise, you'd expect a henhouse problem to show up in all the birds to some degree or another.
Any idea when you'll hear the results?

    Bright but chilly here.

I was hoping to get a secondhand kitchen Alfie. Was offered a £100,000  out of a £2.5M house in St John's Wood for £20K. Still way beyond our budget...

    That's a great idea! Thanks ;)

I had been daydreaming about this site http://www.kitchensynch.co.uk/ but unrealistic prices and too complicated to organise.

There a few simialr sites. I always wonder on one of them what a secondhandex display kitchen selling for 100k plus would have cost new!

It might be worth seeing who your builders would be too rozee. They might be able to give you a Handbuilt bespoke for the same as a warehouse one, who knows?

Thats the other thing that makes me laugh, what is the value of bespoke in second hand ads?!

We are trying to finalise kitchen design for the architect so that they will know where all the sockets etc are meant to be. In the first instance we are having the old cranky existing kitchen moved into the new space, then will look at a better kitchen in some years.

    Glad they got there. Enjoy.

One option rozee is to show your builder a pic of what you like, then ask them whether they can do something similar? Shaker style £5K and asking for £750 painted to match the rest of the room

What giant spiky things? Gorse? Hawthorn? Brambles? Blackthorn? Thistles? Cardoons? I really want a cardoon, but not sure we have enuff space without digging up the lawn! ;)

I think it may be brambles, it comes from our neighbours garden and is massive, thick and every bit of it is covered in glove piercing spikes. They also seem to root in our garden and are a nightmare to get out :( I really hate them, almost am much as the creepy buttercups!
