The most exciting thing I have to report is that it's still like March here - chilly, trees still pretty bare. The longest day is in just over month
 its wierd how a few miles makes such a difference... here the "foliage" is in overdrive !! my apple trees are laden with blossom, the trees, bushes, roses etc are thick with greenery.... i keep boring people by constantly saying "best year for the roses for ages"...:D
everything is just MASSIVE !! i have rose buds albeit just starting... BUT my second sowing of veg is not making an appearance yet..:(:(:(
ive got the "horse whisperer" woman coming tomorow to perform a miracle on RUBY ...:o we will see...............0 -
how can one person be soooooooooo disorganised..:D
I have had a year to prepare for this weekend, thought i would soley conscentrate this week on getting stuff readt, sorting, washing etc...and all i have had is visitors coming into work:mad:.
only got one rail of clothes ready, well i mean picked out..need to stean/iron them price them, Then i havent even started on the material..and all my afternoon is going to be with our main buyer.. ( long story that i dont want to go into on here, but i think i might be making a hasty mistake?)
VERY cold last night....to be honest the weather feels as though its a nice winter's day not summer....Work to live= not live to work0 -
Beautiful day here and I'm off work today as DS1 came out of hospital yesterday.
Hope you manage to get sorted CTC.
Alfie, I was watching a repeat of Martin Clunes and the horses last night, so I hope it goes well for you.

Small frost here, but was being chased off by sun at 7am. Not bothered as everything was fleeced.
Glad to hear DS is on the mend lucielle.
We were never allowed to be disorganised CTC, which is why I'm glad to have a lay-off for a few years. DW would be out there at 10pm sometimes, still washing pots by floodlight.
Even now, when we are doing a giveaway of half our stock, she's taking a few days to organise that 'properly!' Bloomin heck, the plants are free! :rotfl:
My supplier of chilli jam came to see me yesterday and wasn't pleased that I'd messed-up. I have sowed more, but they'll be late.0 -
what a fabulous day !!:j
my hoss whisperer didnt make it as her cat got kicked by HER hoss and ended up at vets, its ok thank goodness... shes coming sunday now.
iv fetched another trailer load of oak branches....2 more to go i reckon but once seasoned it will last me a whole winter...:D
im feeling rather smug as last week i got a bag of vintage "material" for £2. i discovered there was 4 pairs of 60s design curtains in the bag...:) wopped em on the bay for £10 each pair starter and they are selling....:T
iv decided that if i can sell enough to pay my fuel bill every 8-12 weeks i will be happy... i am fortunate it seems to be either given or find cheap things to sell..:D
one friend whos a "multi £M" thinks its a great giggle that im selling stuff for him [on commision] and is finding more stuff tuccked away every week....bring it on i say ....:D
well i hope you have all fared well with the weather and that you are all well.
i hope luceille, that your son does well now he's home..
and CTC....deep breaths :rotfl: you will crack it...0 -

Just got back from the West Country.
Sunshine, showers, hail, frost, friendly but too much traffic! Loved the pannier market, I know its touristy but what the heck.
Nice to have a couple of days doing not much at all, but picked up a bit of stuff at okehampton auction which we're sorting now.
Glad, Lucielle, that DS1 out of hospital.
CTC, good luck at the fair.
Alfie, your ebaying is putting me to shame! Was mesmerised by thge video of your bees moving in.
Dave, just think of all that goodwill you're generating.
Well Ds2 has looked after the pad while we've been away and DS1 we wont see again until next Spring, when they come back to organise a late summer wedding. After sending off two girls, it will be nice to take a back seat for this one0 -
