If you could borrow some hives that have bee scent and smell of honey there is a chance. really the sooner the better.

Someone I know got a swarm last week by putting a box that had bees in until a couple of weeks ago on the corner of the roof on which they had landed and propping up the corner so they could run in. They obliged.

But yours ran in the roof space.

Do ring someone at the local bee group and speak to the swarm officers. They tend to be very experienced.

ive spoken to bee keepers and contacts via ITSME's link and they all seem to say the same.... NO ACCESS !
they are UNDER the window. if thed gone into the roof it would be easier :o but as long as they behave i will leave them.
im going to try and get some hives tho even if it doesnt work...i can try.:)

well good news.....letting agent has backed down.:D
thank you rozee for info links..:)
apparently the landlord backed down when the agents did as i asked and requested the previous tenants leaving inventory and my "mentioning" the electrics problem .....:rotfl:
the agents explained it was the landlord that instigated the inventory company and that they had told him they were not happy with the position it was putting them in so did not want them used again.... so RESULT :D

son is happy to do "the jump" on my behalf...:D:D

memo to self...check what the prize is before entering comps !!;)

    Congratulations on the win Alfie.............

Horrid snowy, wet, windy, rubbish day. House is filled with water & I feel like running off, but no where to run to.

Chicks hatching bang on the calendar date - all Scot's Greys so far apart from a Lavender Orp....cute as pie.

New brown genetically modified hens doing fine but notice a couple of them have 'funny' beaks. One appears desidedly crossed (albeit a little)- never seen this before.

Had to go do a survey ealier & the roads ae filled with gravel, stones etc - all the wash off with the downpours. Pity the walkers & the folks on bikes.....& the lambs.

alfie, the pups are gorgeous :) no wonder you don't mind looking after them. The eyes on the second one look quite 'human' to me.

choille, please can I ask how you found your 'daydream place'?? My DH is talking about us moving up there within the next 3 years, possibly even as early as next year!! He's Scottish so knows the areas, but is Rightmove the place to look online or are there other websites you would recommend looking at?? DH is thinking of Inverness surrounding villages. Thank you in advance for any advice you can offer ~ in your own time obviously ~ I know you're busy ;)
