Hope they decide to relocate somewhere else very soon. Or are you still toying with the idea of your own hive??

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: i think this one is out of my control now ...:rotfl:

if they decide they like thier new des res [and the 20 acre field of flowering rapeseed next door.;) ] then unless i kill them ,which i just couldnt do, we are neighbours and i dont think i will take em on in any "boundary disputes " ;)

and dave ...would i name em...tut tut... i mean queenie and her crew with harry, barry and edwardo as doormen..........

I was also wondering if i could cobble a hive together for alfie. Its frames that would be the issue, and time to get the rest cleaned up enough. Alfie, you might be able to make frames though, you are very 'handy'. If so i might be able to help with the rest. You will need a suit and tools though, and i would put them out by the far shed on other sideof the track. They could kill the dogs or mabel otherwise. A stung and scared mable would be terrifying.

No, a beekeeper could still take them,

Tbh aiui rape is problem for them, particularly if its what they are using for their first stores. It crytalises v. Quickly you see, and as well as being less good to eat i gather it can cause them some problems later. I can see why they like it though. It smells so good. Tbh, i would move to your place too! Rapeseed or no rapeseed.

they cant get to them.... they are inside the bay window box bit...no access. the bee man said that the rape is good for them to construct their ??structure....
i asked if i put a hive down below would they move to it and he said about a 5% chance and if they didnt all fit in it then that equals  bees !!
as long as they are peacefull i will put up with them. if that alters then i will rethink :)

Come on, alfie. One has to be called Buzz.
    "To Alf's Bedroom ......... & beyond!"

He also really ought to have a mate called Neil (who had his own mate Buzz) who launches himself out of the swarm yelling "One small step for man, one giant leap for beekind"

WOW what a neat plot !! me thinks you have hidden talents or OCD :rotfl::rotfl:

No, before that photo was taken we'd just shovelled the soil and raked it tidy, removing a couple of barrow-loads of stones, so it looks good. I can assure you the rest of the plot is not terribly neat, and some parts of it are awful. :o

The polytunnel is straight & tidy. I admit we built it using a laser level, but why not? :D However, we've had more domestics over the poly than anything else we've built! :rotfl:

Hahahahahaha! I'd love them. I've been a bee fondler all my life. Used to pick them up as a child and totally freak out my grandmother who has a bee sting allergy. I've never been stung yet. Such a shame I don't really like honey.
