Good luck with the bootie Rhiwie....

Had my best ever car boot this morning, both for sales and profit, so pretty happy even though it froze off my ......:o. Why does folding money seem so much better than the same amount on your bank statement?

Ice on DW's car at 5am, hands so cold mid morning I couldnt count out the change properly. My regular pitch is always dry, but gets a wind tunnel effect at times :(

Sunday afternoon is chill out time, well it would be if there werent the Ebay listings ending!

    cash is allways king rhiwie:beer:

glad you had a good bootie this morning... have a nice chill out this afternoon..... grand prix highlights is on at 5pm...

hubby has gone up to the holding:D, and i am going to do some transplanting of my seedlings..

went to a local independant to buy my compost ( was there nearly an hour:eek:) but did buy 1kg ( approx 800 seeds )of runner bean seeds £8 and managed to wangle a wooden plant display stand for free:T by all accounts he gets them in when he buys plants ( maybe the stand comes full of plants for x price) so he that i can have some more for free when he gets them....so allways worth supporting local businesses...

He told me we soaks his runner bean seeds over night then sow them, he said they grow quicker ( within a few days)... so might try that, as i need to hit the farm auctions etc with some plants to sell

I remembered you this morning while I was dodging torrential showers, attempting to do bits of garden work. I thought " I hope rhiwfield's car boot's under cover!"
No frost here, just very cold winds and downpours, but with the exposed end of the big poly now closed it wasn't too bad working on the fiddly bits left on that this afternoon. Still managed to hit my thumb with the hammer, which is what happens when extremities get numb. :(

Anyway, well done. Maybe the car boots do better when people can't get on the beach or in the garden? :)

Great news, on two counts. Firstly the weather must be better up there, and secondly, you now have the Technology!

800 runner bean seeds, CTC..... That's some planting! :j

The weather here today was glorious! The sun was out and I didn't even need a jacket.

I now have two raised bed ready for planting and one of the larger beds 3/4 cleared. Feeling so much better about the garden now. I just haven't had the time until today and it was lovely just to spend hours ripping out those pesky buttercups and digging over the soil :D

800 runner bean seeds !! Are you planning to feed the entire British Army? LOL

I suppose the pigs would eat the excess from the 780 plants you weren't eating yourself :D

davesnave.... yep.... took some counting too:D.....hopefully within a few days the newly aquired greenhouse will be fully assembled so i can get more runner beans sowed....

My first lot of runner beans are looking good, so will take them to the smaller farm auction in 2 weeks.... so this will free up some room in room in my smaller greenhouse....

we had hail stones here today.. got the fire lit again tonight...

what will be going in this polytunnel Dave?

sounds like a good tool rummer.....
