Sounds like "repeat victimisation".
They will keep coming back.
Can you fix up CCTV or a web-cams?
Its planned, but we needmoney to do it. Someone else was giving it as a housewarming gift but...gone quiet, and its our repsonsibility no body elses. But that does not make the money available to do it:o0 -
Web-cams are mighty cheap? Not as good but........If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0

LIR....I really do feel for you..def tell neighbours etc... dont know whether the police will be able to do anything, but at least it will be logged and they will be aware of it...
I wish they could shop their bl00dy hands off theiving boggers
Davesnave.... ( i will depete this later) they have proposed that they sell their house, and put a 'granny annex' extension..which will be self-contained...
as they said it would only be our inheritance sp? early, plus as they said in later life if they needed to go into a home, they would only take their house off them anyway, so this way they will not have a house to sell;). so it would be helping them and us.
In reality it does make sense all round, plus we will have on site baby sitters for the animals if we went away for a weekend:D
But the big plus would be... flip knows what is going to happn in the future with all these cut backs...
Before they bought their current house they did ask if they bought a place with land did we want to go and live with them, but we declined... as we do tend to bicker:eek::rotfl:
anyway the prices in wyevale:eek::eek::eek: but i did treat myself to a pineapple mint plant....
plus talking to a member of staff, cut a long story short, i can take the 'white' pallets for free, as they are finding it hard to get rid of them
feel alot better now i have had a blow out ( not that type of blow out alfie:rotfl::p)Work to live= not live to work0 -

oh LIR...im so sorry. there must be a common denominator. check [keep a note] of what days/times they have disapeared. wether it is when you both go out or when just you there on your own.
get some guinea fowl as alarms for now..... get an alarm chord [£10] on your gates/ doors. if any one pulls em open , off it will go... i had one on a pen that had some expensive ornamental pheasants and it went off one night...LOUD... never went off again......
i will make sure you get more goosegoggins if you want some...0 -

I feel utterly depressed. I just can never leave the place without some one here it seems.
Well, logically, it's either lucky opportunists or, if they know you've gone out, then they can't be far away. They must see you go or have heard you are going.0 -

CTC... please get legal advice due to taxes on "gifts"...your parents would still be legal owners of a percentage otherwise. and you would/could be hammered on demise..
if you can look after them in old age and not be too tied [sorry that seems cold but have to be realistic] then it could work.
but check out the "tax benefits" to make it work...

Horrible! It's not just the loss of the animals, it's the other stuff about people violating your home.
So sorry, but don't know what else to say.
Neighbours here can be a pain in the arris, but they're useful, without knowing it!
Will there be a shuffle of priorities now? The kit you need isn't cheap, but peace of mind is priceless.0
