Managed to get out and do the weekly shop and didn't get anything (bar 2 x 10p desert and a 10p fillet of salmon that was in the reduced section) that wasn't already on my list of bits to buy for the week! Took back the 2 tops that I should have took pack last week and got a refund on them and also took cash out of the cash point and paid for the food with that.
Back pain starting to ease up a bit now thank goodness. Gonna have a hot bath in some muscle soak bath oils before bed to see if that helps as I soooooo want to go to Boot Camp in the morning!
Got a few bits to pop on ebay tomorrow evening to try and make some more cash, gotta be done! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Finally got around to taking back the Trackie Bottoms today to JJB...took2 members of staff to work out that I brought them on the 16th February and that that was within the 28 day returns policy and then they asked me 5 times if I wanted a gift card...he was not gonna take no for an answer but then neither was I and eventually I won! Their receipt states you can have it refunded back to the card if it doesn't fit which it nooooo way does and certainly won't in the future neither! Even if I lost all me weight doubt they would fit due to the cut of them!
So finally got my £23.99 back and decided if I want a new pair of trackies, will get some off Ebay and only after flogging bits to have the money in the Paypal!
Back siezing up big style today
Decided to go to Boot Camp but just not go mental and the back started to feel fine after warming up...just after the event it decides to sieze! Oh well! NSD again today which is fab
Gonna get some bits on Ebay later as if I can make some extra money and have a very very cheap month I will be able to afford to pay a whack off of the HSBC card so it will be happy days indeed! xxx :j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Nothing much to report today apart from another NSD! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

            Ay up everyone

Another NSD yesterday and again today! Didn't get to help out training the kiddies tonight as back has been bad so gutted about that really. Am giving up on tablets etc as nowt was working whatsoever!
Have listed 3 items on Ebay, sooooo hope they sell. Emily really wants to go to Birmingham at the end of the month to go to ComicCon. I would love to take her but need to make some serious kerching on Ebay first as really want to hit that HSBC card so plan to see how many bits I can get on ever the next week or so and then see what sells and if I have any money to help with the trip. She fully understands that we may not go but I know she would love it and something nice to do together.
Can't believe how late it is, haven't been sleeping very well at all for the last few weeks so may hit the sack in a mo, ready for more yawn-a-thon work tomorrow...least it will be Thursday!!! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Seems like you are still getting on well.
Hope your back gets better soon. Have you been to a specialist? You might have slipped a disc
Oh, and when you are debt free, you should take your daughter to ComicCon San Diego

DEBT FREE SINCE 25.07.14!

JEEZ  SanDiego!!! She already wants to go to the Nintendo Pokemon in New York and spends ages gawping at in through Street View!!!
Back has got a bit better today thank goodness! Gonna rest it for a few more days until completely healed methinks. My problem is I think I am invincible when it comes to sports!!! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
Well what an up and down day! Just eating lunch now as have been very stressful and busy here and wanted to throw myself out of the window at times!
Apart from work stress had some good news! A person watching an item I listed on ebay last night wanted to know if I had a buy it now price in mind as they are in Bristol and could pay cash! I said £15 and they accepted and am hopefully flogging it tomrrow...£15 for the debt pot and no dam ebay/paypal cuts out of that!
Also Emily has been sitting some of her GCSE's early and really really needs Science for her college course. She has Maths and English in her sights already but Science has been tough for her at this School, she is in the Top Set but doesn't like her teacher's style of teaching! She tooks some mocks and got E's and was devastated. She is taking Triple Science and we created a study timetable and also some books etc to help her revise and she got some results back today for her first batch of exams, 3 out of 9 she has to take. She got an A in Biology (which is the subject she needs most Science wise), B in Chemistry and B in Physics which is AMAZING too!!! She also got a part of her RE GCSE back and got an A and her Sociology Coursework back and got an A*!!! She rang me from School earlier crying as she is so happy!
I love her more than anything in the world and am such a lucky mum! Am toying with the idea of just taking her to ComicCon as a treat as she worked her behind off...I will have a think xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0 -
I need to find out how many more exams she has to make up her final grades. She is only in year 10 so has over another year to go, so will have some more this academic year and more in year 11. I have told my dad and he wants to buy her this science book which from the reviews I have read, explains it all in a really fab way and leaves you saying...ahhhhhh that's what that means!!! My dad is so very proud too, he needs some happiness at the mo as is going through a split with my step mum which is getting very messy indeed so that has helped bring a smile to his face today

Managed to flog off one of the ebay items in cash to a lady in Bristol this evening, so made £17 for the debt pot! I only charged her £15 but she wanted to give me £2 for the petrol so wasn't gonna say no to that! Happy as ebay and paypal would have took a chunk out of that so at least it got sorted without any fees! Happy days! xxx:j 'Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts' - DFW Nerd member 866 :j0

Another item on the ebay is sat at £16 quid odd so far so that is happy days! I wanted to list another item, my running watch GPS unit but cannot find the plug. A friend said he has one I can have and will hopefully give it to me tomorrow so I can then whack the watch on ebay and make some more money. It is not really used and would be better making me a few quid and next summer or so, I will get myself a jazzy new one when I can afford it!!!
Didn't do much at the weekend as back still bad. Sold a concert ticket to Emily's friend so I didn't go myself and made a tenner out of the ticket so that is more to the debt pot! Saved on petrol and also the parking too!
Went to Asda and only spent £28 as am continuing to eat everything I already have in the house! Chuffed with that! Am so proud of myself for staying away from all the temptation.
Was thinking over the weekend about how I am hanging on till payday so much, waiting for the day I get my March wages...not until the 27th so is ages away. I can't really do a proper budget until next month when all my bills increase but my pension isn't taken anymore. I will plan to have a small amount of entertainment budget to make sure that I don't go insane! I want to start work on the garden very soon so that will keep me busy at the weekends.
My dad and brother may be down Saturday as really want to visit the cinema. If I do go I will be buying a drink and sweets from the supermarket beforehand as am never paying for their pic 'n' mix again for as long as I live...even when I am debt free! Insane prices!
No kickboxing tonight as back still bad, so will be saving money there too.
