I haven't really got into this JTD (I caught the last month of the DTD) as I don't get to the shops often enough. I do use tesco online sometimes but wasn't aware you could do jtd on these.
I would be interested in hearing what success people have with these as I will be doing a shop probably next Tuesday or Wednesday (never know whether it's best doing it before or after they change prices).

    Thanks

I regularly do online shops (using the £10 off new customer bonus) and have done them for JTD.

You use a postcode and a delivery number.

To the OP that said the clubcard didn't work, PM me your postcode and delivery number and I'll try it - I think you may be getting something wrong.

To helanas - LOL indeed, the unspoken words, is it safe to assume you'll tell me before I know myself this evening?! :P
I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

The Egg and Marbles went from a trip to China with work. The Barclaycard has gone from money saved that would have been spent on shopping, so technically, yes.

The basic jist is that I've not paid for shopping, much, since DTD.:rotfl::A

PS - Nice one on being debt free! If only I could get enough from JTD to pay my student loans and mortgage! (I'm trying!)

:) Nice... My vouchers end in a couple of weeks. So I have a few £20 left to play about with.

I started this in March 2011.. Its now 16 or so months later.. Its been a good laugh.. I guess its back to Mr Asda soon :)

The thing that I dont understand is that if they have fixed the bug that allows people to recycle the voucher with a unique system why did they change it from £20 to £10..

Thanks, I will try this with my next order. Mr T has given me a £10 off £50 spend as I haven't shopped there for a while - I just need to work out if I can get a jtd voucher doing a 'big shop' if the limit is now £10?

Why would it be any different to normal? Other than half the price...

If you're looking to just get a voucher, almost regardless of purchase, then a brief list of small value 'comparable' items to top up the 8:

    Loose...
    Grapes
    Mushrooms
    Chillies
    Ginger
    Tomatoes

... I guess you get the idea.

If you really wanted, you don't even have to actually buy any physical items. Just go to self service, stick anything light on the scales, and pick different fruit and veg from their list. It'll mostly be so small value that even if it's cheaper than in Asda, it will only take a few pence off.

This 8 item limit still hasn't kicked in. If it does, there are shed loads of value items that I get anyway like shampoo 9p, peas 6p, custard 12p etc.
