I'm back from my weekend in Yorkshire and the kitchen floor is covered in bags. I'm sure there's enough stuff there to cover a week away never mind just a weekend!
Should have been going to a meeting this morning but I think I'll forgo that and try and get the washing done and put everything away.
DD back at school today so hopefully will be able to get to doing Moggin's list.
Will catch up on the weekend's posts on the other thread later.NST #10 Steps 7K 2/30 10K 2/12 5 a day 3/30 NSD 0/20

OH is packed off to work :j DD is in bed sick  She was complaining of having an upset stomach yesterday, then last night after much arguing over the fact she wouldn't eat her porridge she managed to make herself sick  Off to bed she went and she's staying there all day  As a result there will be no hoovering or loud jobs today. I'll give the livingroom a quick swipe with a damp cloth today for a dusting but thats it. I'm concentrating on laundry (including the dreaded ironing:eek:), dishes and ebay listings  Nothing new there then! Hopefully she should be back at school tomorrow with no problems.

I used to have a pink feather duster (hand-me-down from my mum when I moved out) but it was hopeless and left pink feathers all over the place  Since then I lay claim to a purple static feather duster that was my nans (after she died I claimed it though) and it's fantastic! Then again my house gets so dusty so fast I use it every other day

Shell - In my cleaning kit I have my Tescos Anti-bacterial surface wipes and floor wipes (not very money-saving i know) and the magical Cillit Bang (i find it gets stains out of everything!!). I know i'm going to be strung up for blasphemy here but I do have some stardrops but have never really got on with it. Its just not hardcore enough to get rid of the stains in my house!
I don't think i'm going to get much done today but the house is looking pretty good at the moment. My mum came up this weekend so I had to do a mojor clean before she came. Plus she did all my ironing whilst she was here, good old mummy!!
They've got some sort of animal thing going on at the docks, apparently there is going to be some animals from Bristol Zoo there! Big spiders and all sorts! My DD has an unholy obsession with huge spiders so i'm sure she'll enjoy it!What the Deuce?0 -
