    Have decided to jump in here. Have had flu (still feeling grotty) and whole house is a mess.

    So having a list of things to do will be a big help, ta!

    Lil_me.. whizz your boots advantage card through the machines there are usually half price tests on there!!! and dolland and aitcheson often do special offers of free tests.. you can take your prescription somewhere cheaper to get your specs.. Asda are supposed to be really good for buying glasses from.

    Rach.. thank you.. I am hoping my headaches and tiredness are miraculously cured too! I decided I am not paying my credit card this week so I can cover the cost of the glasses. I have made more than the monthly payment already it just means the next £150 from ebay has to go off that bill. I have £60 in bids already so that is about half.

    Living room - yeah! Was just watching the telly and thinking how much the picture would improve if I dusted it! :o

    When I wake up tomorrow I hope I don't hear on the news that a mother of 7 has been arrested for the attempted murder of her husband with a circular saw.........:eek:

    Don't have a TV

    Well - that answers THAT question then . . . :rotfl: I know you've heard them all Pigpen, cos I have and I've only got four!

    Not a lot to update . . . just cruising the boards because I'm bored at work and the boss isn't here today :)

    [STRIKE]One load of laundry out on line, and one for boys to put out when they get up;
    Working a full day - argh!!!
    Hope to get groceries during my lunch hour then rush them home for boys to put away;[/STRIKE]
    After work - get laundry in, folded, put away, dinner;
    Puppy class at 6pm - far too early . . .
    Get rest of groceries not got at lunch time! (There is bound to be some!)

    Also need to get WOF for the car - and I know it's not going to pass and I'm going to have to get the window fixed :eek: Goodness knows how much that will cost.

  • Half term here too (also Durham!) and not really understanding why everyone hates half term. I love it (course that could be because I am off work too!).

    Been looking forward to this week as it means I can join in properly and not just madly dash through all the tasks after work.

    Should have plenty time too as DH managed to wake me up on his way out to work at 4am and I can't get back off to sleep (though I may end up flagging half way through the day)
