    Can't see me getting this done today - but will put aside until Wednesday if I don't :)

    Today sees me:
    One load of laundry out on line, and one for boys to put out when they get up;
    Working a full day - argh!!!
    Hope to get groceries during my lunch hour then rush them home for boys to put away;
    After work - get laundry in, folded, put away, dinner;
    Puppy class at 6pm - far too early . . .
    Get rest of groceries not got at lunch time! (There is bound to be some!)

    Mine comes to stay for a weekend every 6-8 weeks - it really gives you a kick up the rear to get clean and tidy - I'd recommend it to anyone having difficulty and I'll even lend you mine if you like :rotfl:

  • Really want to get back on track this week...now that the nightmare of half-term is over!! Couldn't really get to do anything last week, other than the absolute essentials. So tomorrow's plan is:

    Living Room, Hallway, Stairs and Landing

    1. Declutter and tidy
    2. Hoover and dust
    3. Swish away any cobwebs
    4. Dust TV screen
    5. [strike]Clean coffee table[/strike] - don't have one!!!

    6. [strike]Empty wastepaper basket[/strike] - don't have one (in these areas anyway!)
    7. Clean skirting boards

    My list
    1. Remove dry washing from radiators, fold and either put away/put in ironing basket
    2. Put wet washing (that can't go in TD) on radiators
    3. 2 loads in WM
    4. 2-3 loads in TD
    5. Post 2 eBay parcels
    6. Put away ironing (all kids stuff + more done tonight!)
    7. Vacuum whole house!!
    8. Clean bathroom (if I get chance)
    9. Sort out stuff for charity collection on Tuesday am
    10. Load DW
    Have done no housework today...but have been decluttering all weekend!! Our loft is JAMMED full of (rubbish) stuff, so have been to the tip x 2, charity shop x 2, sorted out some items for eBay and the kids have decluttered one of their (many) toy boxes!! They watch a programme called 'clutter nutters' on CBBC and were really up for putting toys on their 'love it' or 'lose it' piles!!!!!

    Have also been to 2 lots of swimming lessons, watched DS1 play football and visited my parents......so really had no time for cleaning!!!!!!

    Half term here, so wish me luck :( Saying that DP is with us tomorrow and I think we're taking boys out, so might con him into getting them out of my hair for half an hour so I can 'fly' around the living room like a mad hatter! Boys home = no vacuum cleaner on, windows open, chemical smells etc so need him to remove them while I get it done!
    One day I might be more organised...........:confused:

    Reckon I can manage that one as the children go back to school tomorrow. I've kept on top of stuff well this weekend so hope to be all systems go tomorrow.

    List for tomorrow
    1) Moggin's living room list
    2) Hall, stairs and landing
    3) One washing load
    4) Put dry stuff on ironing pile for DH
    5) 27 fling boogie thing in study as it's still the pits!
    6) 2 hours work
    7) Help in DDs class in the afternoon
    8) 1 hours study
    9) Find a meal in the dregs of the freezer but it's not looking good (any recipes for sausage rolls, frozen herbs, frozen coffee and pitta bread???
    10) Make a phone call for work / college
    11) Send a cheque off for a course

    Don't try too hard lil_me!

    It was half term for me last week. My SIL's husband was here all day on friday waiting for a man to come and buy my car.

    Yesterday, my SIL told me that he had told her how he was watching me clean and then watching the kids systematically trash my work. :wall:

    We have had half term.
    Tomorrow I will be cleaning up wee and vomit.
    Making bubble and squeak and queen of puddings for tea. The 'proper' cleaning will have to wait.
    Was planning to go to the gym after finishing putting all the holiday stuff away but I have at least one poorly son to attend to :(
