We finally have a dishwasher! Six weeks, 75cm of solid granite to get the pipes through and £120(!!!!!) of drill bits later and my lovely lovely DH has got it plumbed in. It has been such an epic job, bless him, he has kept digging away at it.

Four loads through since last night, getting every dish, cup pan we own really clean. Amazing how much better it feels. WM is now in the same room as the TD, so 4 loads through that as well. Top floor cleaned, and the living room tidied. Still some way to go in the kitchen though..... I can almost see the worktop - bit of a lie, there isnt one.....

I hate washing up, and the resentment seeps over into the rest of the cleaning. I am now back with a vengeance.

Moggins, glad you didn't say the bathroom. Slight disaster in there, I attempted to wash the tiles and most of them fell off. I guess re-fitting the bathroom has jumped up the priority list a bit.... Unfortunately they had been glued onto bowed hardboard so cant even chuck a temporary coat of paint on. Think the years of dirt had been holding them together....

Pigpen - 70 things!!!!! What sort of stuff are you listing?? I have got boxes of stuff in the loft but I hate listing things on ebay. I hate all the wrapping - i'm so rubbish at wrapping, plus my dd always wants to 'help' which certainly doesn't make things any easier!

    EVERYTHING!!

It I don't want it it goes. I have cleared out the childrens cupboards so a lot is their cast offs.. and mine.. but there is fabric and playstation games and toys and baby food even!!

Becca.. that is disgraceful.. (says she who has never ever smoked a joint in her life!) I always roast mine with leeks! lol

We have progress...DD has now had 2 meals and kept them down :j I'm hoping she can go to school tomorrow...as far as I can tell there's no reason she shouldn't :D

Still not got very far with anything else, plus it's now started raining so my towel wash will have to wait  Still more dishes to wash but 2 dishes that I've cooked in are soaking along with DD's porridge bowl so that can wait for now as well :D

Anything not done today, can be rolled over until tomorrow or whenever Moggins springs the Diningroom on us :D Sometimes having a small house does have it's advantages!
