We are listing them today on turbolister and just uploading tomorrow.. we have 2 days of listing and abouit 2 minutes of posting then.. thank you though.. very kind of you to remind us!

    xx

Turbolister? Is that on Ebay or another site? That would be great if I could start listing all the stuff tonight then can just upload them tomorrow. BF has went home early so he is going to look out a lot of stuff he wants selling too so I will probably have about 20 items to go on!

Turbolister is a program which links to your ebay account.. hang on while I find the link.. http://pages.ebay.co.uk/turbo_lister/ using this means you can prepare all your listings in advance and do loads at once and upload them whenever is convenient. It is just one of the ebay seller tools.

    Definitely flylady friendly!!!

Rach - another one here wondering where you play scrabble online? OH has more or less blocked Yahoo games here so I'm struggling to find other games sites which aren't full of "kill 'em" or platform games:rolleyes: I would much rather stretch myself mentally playing scrabble then trying to work out which button causes someones head to get blown off :D

Not gotten very far with ebay listings... urgh! There only 6 more books to list then maybe I'll get on with a different box

  • Half term here too (also Durham!) and not really understanding why everyone hates half term. I love it (course that could be because I am off work too!).

Been looking forward to this week as it means I can join in properly and not just madly dash through all the tasks after work.

Should have plenty time too as DH managed to wake me up on his way out to work at 4am and I can't get back off to sleep (though I may end up flagging half way through the day)

Fooled me a little with the list - I too was expecting kitchen / bathroom.

    Monday
Living Room, Hallway, Stairs and Landing

    1. [STRIKE]Declutter and tidy[/STRIKE] - [STRIKE]including sorting out stacking wicker boxes that are used as toyboxes / dumping grounds[/STRIKE]
    2. [STRIKE]Hoover, dust and mop floor[/STRIKE]
    3. [STRIKE]Swish away any cobwebs[/STRIKE]
    4. [STRIKE]Dust TV screen[/STRIKE]
    5. [STRIKE]Clean coffee table[/STRIKE] - Don't have one
    6. [STRIKE]Empty wastepaper basket[/STRIKE] Don't have one
    7. [STRIKE]Clean skirting boards[/STRIKE]

[STRIKE]Tidy and hoover hallway, hoover stairs and tidy and hoover landing and dampdust all skirting boards.[/STRIKE]

    My list

    [STRIKE]Wipe door frames / doors (living room)[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Wipe light switches / sockets (living room)[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Sort magazine rack[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Sort stair basket[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]File away paperwork lurking in stair basket[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Do at least 2 loads of washing - fourth one in now[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Hoover / mop kitchen floor[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Wash kitchen surfaces[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Empty kitchen bin[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Iron dry clothes[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Put ironed clothes away [/STRIKE] (Don't mind the ironing but HATE this one!)
Tidy / declutter attic including seeing if there is anything that can be thrown away / ebayed / charity shopped
    Dust attic
    Hoover attic
E-mail supervisor about dissertation (been putting this one off for ages, please nag me to do it)
    [STRIKE]Post parcel[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Phone bank about downgrading to basic (non-fee paying) bank account[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Phone magazine company to stop subscription[/STRIKE]
Mark Science books that I have brought home from work- can't so as failed to bring red pen home!

Not had much luck with attic so far as DD and DS have had friends in (At one point we had 9 children in the house) and they were playing in the attic. Meant that I got time to potter downstairs though and it is very tidy. One of the girls playing with DD came down and said "Mrs Chocaholic, your house is very clean", which I enjoyed. Also gave fridge a quick clean while I was waiting.
Heading up to the attic now. Send out the search party if I'm not back in an hour or two - I dread to think what state I'm going to find it in.

    Hiya
I've done my list for today. We had sausage rolls and rice for dinner and I served it to DH when he came in (hee hee). Tomorrow it's sausages, rice and yorkshire pudding. I will empty this freezer! Pack lunches will have sausage rolls and pitta bread in tomorrow.

I woke up this morning with a right headache so going to lie down for an hour....I never get headaches so it's really annoying me. Despite all the pills I've thrown at it it's hanging on in there. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! Ok, moan over.

By the way, our cat is still hanging on in there like there was never a problem. Little minx!

CHOCOHOLIC.. I don't normally hate school holidays, in fact I actually like having the children at home but my house was in total uproar, no bathroom, they just trashed everything in sight, walked dirt everywhere because it was impossible to clean everything up.. I was so glad to send them back to school this morning I was tempted to hug teachers!!! now I have a plasterer, a plumber and an electrician to entertain!! House full of strange men!!!
