Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
    Evening all Firdayits.gif

My list now looks like this :
    • [strike]Dailies[/strike]
    • [strike]Desk area[/strike]
    • [strike]Weekly shop at Aldi [/strike]
    • Washing (when peeps get in, but can be sorted earlier on)
      • Dark
      • Lights
      • [strike]Probably a towel wash as well :rotfl:[/strike]
    • Homework with DD - book review & read next book.
Had quite a relaxing but productive day :D One of my friends asked me to teach her to save...so I've lent her a copy of the Money Diet ;):money: In return she's having DD round tomorrow from about midday until gone 8pm :j Free time and with OH about...what shall we do  (Keep it clean...this is a family board :p )

My shopping didn't come to less than £7...more like £14 but I did go to Asda and got loads of bit that I WILL use from the reduced section and stocked up on some fish as we only had 1 tin of tuna in!

Anyways I managed to get my CRB form filled in, all the various bits of ID I might need, got to the school and they asked me to come back on Monday afternoon  Oh well, I've left it all in my "handbag" so it's together ready for Monday. ;)

Just about to go and put the pasta on for tea as I've starving, OH is in the bath and about to be disturbed by DD who needs the bathroom :rotfl: Oh what a night! Right, tea time
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.
Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!

Lost my earlier post somewhere in cyberspace... Not much flying here today, as DS1 very down, and had to fit in trip to Dr (waited an hour and five minutes beyond our appointment to get in, and had to rely on friend to take DS2 and DD home after school.) Probably stress, but not easy to deal with.

Did do the boys' bedlinen, and hoovered the bedrooms. Also washed throws that cover my revolting (but hopefully soon to be replaced) sofas. Will sweep everything on computer desk into rubbish bin later!
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be
  • Well I'm not sure how much more I will get done this evening as I am quite looking forward to a night in on my own. I am trying to concentrate on what I have achieved rather than what I haven't so I although I wanted to be able to say I had got everything straight I am not able to say that, but I can say I have:

cleared all the stuff lying around in the kitchen
    wiped down the tiles
washed down the drawer and cupboard fronts
    cleaned work surfaces
    emptied DW
    wiped down fridge and DW
    swept floor and washed
wrapped up stuff and put in freezer
bought stuff to go with parsnips to make parsnip and apple soup
    took cardboard to recycling
    updated snowball
    reconciled bank a/c

This evening I am still hoping to:

    put load in WM
    pay car tax online
vacuum living room and wash floor (laminate - needs vacuuming first as so many bits!)
dust all surfaces in living room

And if I achieve that I will feel I've had a pretty good first week flying!
Proud to be dealing with my debts

Where has the day gone? I've got sweet FA done today so it looks like I will be working this evening instead. DH has gone off to bed again :(

Is that it? Blimey, you can have a bottle a day if you can organise my working day!

Same here. I also think it is great having a chronicle of what i have done each day so when his lordship comes home and sneers at me and asks what I've done all day I can show him the list and say .. 'that!' .. it also reminds me that I do have things to do and cannot justify sitting on my rumpus doing nothing because I have loads to do.

I've not had this much listed on ebay for almost 3 years either!! I have £65 in bids on there now, and another 4 boxes full to list!! Going to get one lot photographed tonight hopefully... is I can remember where I put the camera!! Oh.. I just found it.. that was opportune!

Now you are grateful for us.. you have to stay! :T:T:T

i think i'd best be very organised this weekend as i have just realised we will be away for x3 weekends in March, then either having DH's parents visit or perhaps us away for the 4th weekend. We will also have DH's aunty and uncle popping in for a visit as they travel past our house to visit other people. One of these weekends is a wedding of my friend where i'm bridesmaid, so i will need to act like i have a rocket up my bum to fit it all in. Oh well - i'd best not complain that i am bored. ;)

I am going to plan exactly what i need to do each day for a start.

I haven't managed much flying the last two days, so as today was reasonably clear I aimed to catch up.

    Achieved today -
    WM x3
    DW x2
    HM soup x2
Made 3 phone calls which I have put off all week:j
    Deposited at bank
    deposited at building soc
Posted seven parcels at post Office - just started listing on Amazon marketplace and so far so good
Made the beds - didn't yesterday so was determined today
Opened all windows - house was cold but all the cleaning quickly warmed me up
    de-cluttered lounge / dining room / kitchen / bathroom
hoovered lounge / dining room / kitchen / bathroom
    washing put away
ironed for two hours and then put it all away
    kitchen floored cleaned

I am now having a well deserved glass of wine and a catch up on this site, I normally try to pop on a couple of times during the day but haven't managed it for a couple of days so I am looking forward to having a good read.

    Have a good weekend.
