  • Hi everyone

Well it looks like I may be able to get on top of some of my mess today as DD does own room so no official jobs today! Intending to have a day at home so going to do bouts of half an hour attacking the house mixed in with half hours of day time tv (bit of a luxury as not normally around during the day). Love Great Food Live so aiming to get a fair bit done before that so can sit and enjoy!

Ran WM on hot wash empty last night so another little job done and after sorting out my makeup yesterday in my declutter session it was great to be able to find what I needed when I was getting ready to go out last night. Was also lovely to come home to a tidy bedroom - I DO NOT want to have a floordrobe so am going to try and make that one of my jobs before I go to bed.

Right, enough talking about it, off I go flying!
Proud to be dealing with my debts

  • My house is the most horrible mess you have ever seen... I promise.

I am re-doing my hallway and have spent the entire week sanding, and painting. I am now officially unable to lift my arms again!.. UGH... that sanding machine seemed really light when I bought it, but it seems to get heavier every time I pick it up!

Two big jobs left to do in there.. one long wall covered in wooden slats.. (that is now sanded down and needs primer) and the front door. But I need DH's help with getting that off of it's hinges.

Anyway.. mad dash out now to the DIY shop. Need more sanding paper and need to pick up my new cabinet for in the living room. WHOOHOO!!

happy flying you all. I'm sure I'll catch up next week. Just wanted to let you know I'm still around.

hello Becca. .. I'm sure the hallway will look beautiful once it is done! I hope you did before and after pics! My hallway needs a quick run over with paint once people have stopped taking building materials up and down the stairs!!

I need paint for the boys room next.. once it is tidy I can zap it with the roller and get the whole lot done in no time. We gave a gallon of pale green paint so the room may yet end up green lol.. that'll pee them both off! I want to do each wall a different colour!

Not a bad start. Baby is just about to wake up and then want feeding, so i'm just enjoying my cuppa. I didn't think i would be up to much today as i was awake most of the night with really bad stomach cramps. I'm not exagerating, but they were as bad as labour pains, and i couldn't sleep through it. I felt really woozy when i woke, but i worked through it, had a bath and then made a start.

Playgroup is 1 till 3, so i will try to get a bit more done before we go. Hopefully baby will want another kip when we get back, so that will give me some more time to get things sorted. ;)

Will not post back till later tonight, when i am hoping that i will have removed quite a few of the longer standing jobs from the to-do list.

  • Hi all!

    Its Friday, woooooooooooo!!!

I've got dd1 home with me today, she was due to stay with in-laws but they have both got this nasty stomach flu thats going around.

Both kids rooms are pretty spotless but could do with a general swish. Need to put DS rug in the wash.

Also need to wash downstairs floors as the damn cat has walked muddy paws everywhere! She also woke us up in the middle of the night chasing a frog around our bedroom.

Done my bedroom today, stripped bed, hoovered mattress, remade. Room polished and vacuumed and I did the landing and daughter's bedroom too (she polished it last night).

Two loads of washing done and hung about.

Luckily I left vacuuming downstairs until a bit later because the cats decided to have a wrestling match up and down the hallway! It's a wonder they're not bald, the carpet looked like a furball. Done now.

    Hiya
I'm just having a generaly tidy up today as places are starting to get a bit untidy again. Children can do their rooms when they come in. DH can do the study. I'm in the mood for delegating. I'm going to have a walk to the library when it opens at 2. Then I really seriously need to get this tma finished....or should I say started! :D Such is life!
    Don't anyone work too hard!
