Collected the grubs from school.. and ended up with an extra one somehow  It doesn't even look like one of mine.

My loo looks very nice now and I feel much better about my messiness!

duvets hung up to dry, will finish them off in the dryer after dinner if needed but it is very warm upstairs. I have the sheets to chuck in next and the duvet covers.. do that in a mo while the kettle boils. Dw just finished so I'll unload that. The cats are yowling for biscuits so I'll feed them too.

My SIL has sent me 6 dresses today.. I may have to thump her I am SO fed up of this.. Why can she not just choose a dress (that isn't pink!) and buy it??? she didn't send any yesterday but has been sending 6-8 a day for 3 weeks!! How many dresses are there on ebay??

They are impossible to count, they move WAAAY too fast.. I just count up to 6 (2 are at high school) and that'll do.. I forget to check if we go beyond 6, today I mis-counted because I had one in the pushchair and one standing on the footboard so just counted the 2 as one.. I'll be much more careful in future!

I have managed to find something for dinner for 11!!!! without going to the shop AGAIN.. I am getting really good at this!! Freezer scrapings!! I am doing chicken in mushroom sauce with mash and baby carrots!! I found that in my cupboards and freezer!! DH is having cauliflower cheese with his mash.

I also just remembred it is DD1's options evening tonight at 7pm.. and I have a spare child until 8pm!! DS1 will have to walk her home.. it isn't far. I had completely forgotten when we brought her home.. oops.

Best go have a speedy shower.. with no door on the bathroom!! because I smell like stardrops and stale pee from the toilet floor!

oh.. flip.. I have the boys beds to sort too... darn it!! Best get those duvets in the dryers now!!

Amazing what you remember once your brain switches on!

  • Well it's time for me to get ready and go out so I am having a quick run through what I managed to achieve today. Here goes (with [STRIKE]excuses[/STRIKE] reasons for not achieving some of them :o

    Thursday
    Master Bedroom
    1. Change bedding (hoover mattress) going to do this tomorrow - don't want to get into nice clean bed with smokey hair after being out tonight. Will have shower before bed tomorrow and look forward to clean bedding
    2. [STRIKE]Remove floordrobe[/STRIKE]Few things now on bedroom stool waiting to be sorted but floor now clear and most stuff away
    3. [STRIKE]Dust all surfaces
    4. Hoover Bedroom[/STRIKE]
27 fling boogie not official fling boogie but managed to get rid of fair few things when sorting the floordrobe!

[STRIKE]Hoover and dust spare room [/STRIKE]don't have one - and DD does her own room

    My list
    1. [STRIKE]15 minute declutter[/STRIKE] - intend doing makeup in bathroom cupboard so will take more than 15 mins! All sorted

    2. [STRIKE]Take plastic to tip for recycling [/STRIKE]
    3. [STRIKE]Go to Mr T to change vacuum cleaner need to do this so can hoover mattress and room[/STRIKE]! Got some reduced meat whilst there so have sorted that, repackaged and put in the freezer
    4. [STRIKE]Gym[/STRIKE] Only 30 mins but better than nothing
    5. 3 hotspots - coffee table, shelf and top of cupboard oops didn't get chance to do this
    6. Do car tax online haven't done this because want to wait until cheque clears tomorrow
    7. Clean clothes away all folded but didn't manage to get them away - maybe before I go out
    8. [STRIKE]Kitchen sink[/STRIKE]nice and shiny now!
    9. [STRIKE]Text DD with grandparents addresses for postcards [/STRIKE]
    10. [STRIKE]Check online bank and pay some off CC[/STRIKE]

Feels pretty good looking at that list and seeing what I have actually acheived. Focus on what I have done rather than what I haven't got round to.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

Evening everyone :) sounds like everyones had a very busy day.

Well the new mattress is on, still waiting for the sheets to dry, last lot of pillows in the washer, then have to get them dry, think might be a late night tonight trying to get everything dry. A lot of dailies are done, made some plum jam, had kids out for few hours (fun club was full DS not amused!) Just about to check through my list to see what's left.

:o Edit oh darn it, knew I should have checked earlier, forgot to go to the post office, oh poop! Will have to add to tomorrows list.
One day I might be more organised...........
