Morning all
I know some of you are pleased about being ahead of yourselves but just one little thing - if you can leave changing the bedding until it is bedroom day then you will find it much better as hoovering that mattress really does need to be done once a week! If you remember just how many skin cells we slough off during the night and that most of this end up on your mattress you will see just how important this job is.
Do you really want to sleep with all those dead bits of you and all the nasties that like to feed on them?Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Morning :hello:
Think I've bitten off more than I can chew at the moment - DD2 is searching for her lost roller blade and just had to empty the understairs cupboard to see if it was there - whilst there I decided to give it a sort through and a sweep - have flung 7 bags of rubbish (surprising as it was clear a few weeks ago) and now have several things lying about waiting for a new home - don't think they've got one lol - help!
Glad it's the master bedroom today as it's still good from last week and I only changed the bedding the other day so it'll only take 5 mins. Have to give the living room the once over aswell as the Virgin man is coming this afternoon to install the TV (3 for £30 deal yay) oh and I need to clear the DVD's/ornaments/general carp off the tele too.
ok todays list:-
load DW Done
Clean kitchen Done
empty TD Done
load TD Done
stick a few bits on radiators to dry Done
find homes for newly found keepable junk Done
hoover through Done
moggins list
make tea
keep 7 yr old entertained
swish and swipe living room Done
clear tv and surrounding area Done
I'm tired just thinking about itGonna finish my cuppa then get cracking - feel like I've been at it for hours already - infact - I have lol
Have a good one folks x0 -
Unexpectedly home today instead of doing my course, as DS1 having a bit of a crisis. Since he was so ill last year, he has had problems with organisation, concentrating etc and is quite vulnerable to stress. He has a lot of work deadlines looming, is overwhelmed and not coping, couldn't sleep last night so I decided to stay home with him, and get stuck into clearing some of the work so he can cope.
I shall be off this PC in a minute, and doing some a few of the jobs that I've skipped for the past two days because I didn't have time.
I really don't know how those of you who work full time manage! I shall be having a taster in a couple of weeks when I do a fortnight's work placement... child labour may be required to keep up I think! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
I'm going to have to do my bedroom tomorrow instead. My daughter's day off from work is Thursday so she always strips her bed then and I wouldn't have room to dry two loads of bedding as well as the normal washing (no tumble drier). Besides the cats are already asleep on my bed. It's pouring with rain so they stomped off upstairs early today.
DD has just got up so will get her bedding in the wash soon. I like to keep the day quite free when she's home so we can spend some time together. Will vacuum her bedroom tomorrow when I have it upstairs to do mine (she dusts etc. herself).0 -
Morning all, well my mattress just arrived, they must have read my mind as I was just having a moan on the daily about waiting in for deliveries. Downside is DP still in bed, so can't strip it/tidy up yet, grrr! He is at work tonight until early hours so I have to be understanding (grits teeth)
I'm still going to vacuum this mattress with it being new and dust in store rooms etc, it's covered but I know usually sat around a while. New duvet and everything waiting to go on, just need to get the sheets washed! Right I am going to go and do the kitchen and make some jam I think to stop me kicking DP out of bed

I usually do, but I had
to change them on Monday again, so I'm not doing them today, will wait till it comes round again - mind you it's really thrown me off track cause I was just getting used to the routine and it's thrown it all out of sync
DD2 has just gone round to see if her friend wants to come and play, that's my cleaning day out the window if she does, unless I can coerse them into helping me. Pah! It's good for them :rotfl:0
