Moggins thanks for reminder about catch up - i have been awful this week due to combination of poorly girls, DH off work and doing lots of debt sorting - my bedroom is A TIP so will make sure some time to do that tomorrow -
just remembered got dh to get lots of boxes out of loft today to sort next size clothes for dd2 and toys to sell so just wondering how i am actually going to get into bed tonight - so will concentrate on list properly rather than do my old habit of flitting and getting nothing done!!
shell do you have a recipe for chicken and leek pie - what sauce is it in? it sounds yummy and i have both chicken, leek and stuff for pastry to be used up!!
pigpen am with you on asking mum for money gulp!! its hard isn't it! and well done on paying some off of debts - i am trying to pay off bits of loan but can't its all or nothing so am trying to figure if i can transfer to 0% cc but it means we will have 3 lots of that and its a lot to find new cards for when 0% runs out!! Pass on any mum asking tips!!
night all - off to search for my bed!!0 -
cha97michelle wrote:I am planning on doing most of it at the weekend and getting DH to take the baby somewhere for a bit. Love him to bits but i need some of my own time to do anything before i go insane.
Shouldn't take long, and then i could also spend some time reading my book or having a soak.
DH has already promised to have him for a few hours, as the baby is so clingy at the moment and won't go to anyone without looking for me, and crying.
I know how you feel cha97michelle!! I have a 20 month old and a 6 month old, and as you say, i love them to bits but i sometimes feel that i don't do anything except feed babies and change nappies!! I think its what i miss the most is my 'ME' time. I spend all my evenings catching up on housework etc. and during the days its looking after the kids. What I wouldn't give for a few hours of pampering!!What the Deuce?0 -

Excellent week this week, I'm finding it much easier now and its not taking me as long now, and the house almost looks good.
So today its master bedroom and I also still need to do the kitchen floor, as I forgot (well not so much forgot, but was going to do it last thing at night after the dogs had been out for the last time , but was too tired)Always on the hunt for a bargain0 -
pigpen wrote:Nicki.. for goodness sake woman sit down for 5 minutes and let us catch up. What will you do the rest of the week if you do everything today?!?!?!
Well you see I have plans for todayI won't know if they'll come to fruitition until after the school run so I wanted to make sure I was done. Only took me 4 hours to do the house top to bottom, plus another 2 or so for the ironing! Plus I like to have Fridays free from jobs except for dailys now to make ME time....plus those books I got yesterday are sooooo tempting :rotfl:
I will admit that I am exhusted today...but that could have something to do with staying up to watch Crimson Tide with OH and then not getting to bed until gone midnight
Master bedroom is already doneSo my list for today currently stands like this :
- Dailys
- Beds
- Bathroom S&S
- Dishes
- Kitchen S&S
- Evening meal - pasta or potato wedges..will depends on plans
- WM
- Packed lunch
- Clean kitchen bin
- Mop floors
- CRB Form
Right, time for school run. Laters :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 - Dailys

I'm just waiting for my lot to finish breakfast and they are away to school too.
I got to bed just before 2am last night.. that is why I hate going out during the week!! My mother liked her mirror though.. bit smaller than her old one but it works!
