Ooooh I've just read tomorrow's challenges:

    Thursday
    Master Bedroom

    1. Change bedding (hoover mattress)
    2. Remove floordrobe
    3. Dust all surfaces
    4. Hoover Bedroom
    27 fling boogie

    Hoover and dust spare room

This makes me happy :) As I did most of this on Sunday :)

Tomorrow's list for me will be this:

    Hoover bedroom
27 fling boogie - may I ask a question on this - does this mean true things to throw out, or does this include stuff to go to charity / recycling ?
Hoover, dust and make up spare bedroom, ready for MIL
Clean spare bathroom, ready for MIL (although may get DH to do this ... it is his mother!!!)
Although I may go up there in a minute and be liberal with the vinegar (can you tell we suffer from limescale!)
Put meal plan together for the weekend (consequently a shopping list)
Clean the utility room (mopping the floor being the priority)
    Normal chauffeur duty
    Normal work day
Weight watchers (ha ha - nice cake ;) ).

Apologies i haven't managed much flying today, was working this morning and unfortunately a little boy fell off a space hopper and cut opened his head so spent most of the morning in A&E with him waiting on his mum to arrive (I do relief playleader work so this child was only 2 1/2 and it really tugged at the heart strings I think you are more relaxed when it's not one of your own but you know that all he wants was his own mum) Once i did manage to get home I had ten mins to find both girls swim wear and head out to their swimming classes, home for tea after six.

I did stick to my dailies and managed an hours ironing while watching the bill, but hope to catch up tomorrow as the master bedroom is looking okay and i will get away with a quick S&S.

the telly is an LCD flat screen. I also want to know how to do the computer screen (TFT monitor). I think they should be fairly similar if you think you have any tips

Forgive me for butting in, but I always do the screens in this house (monitors/tv) with vinegar spray and a microfibre ....

    No smears :)

:j my new mattress should be arriving before midday tomorrow, so very pleased it's tomorrows list as doing it anyway. New duvet been saved too, all spangly new bed for me tomorrow night :D and if we had a floordrobe we wouldn't be able to get into bed, thankfully no clothes go on the floor in my room

I do 27 charity flings etc, anything to go basically, as long as it's going it's a fling and all the better if being recycled!

Michelle With LCD/TFT screens friend runs a shop which sells them and says very slightly damp cloth only, no sprays etc, destroys the screen, so slap on wrist for your DP, he said if already done, just keep wiping over with damp cloth ever now and again until it goes. Can effect warranty if use anything but that really should just dust over them (as I said impossible in my house with 2 young boys) and they shouldn't attract dust.

jjef hope little one is better soon, no need to apologise, what a morning you've had.
One day I might be more organised...........

Well done everyone, and those of you who are playing catch up STOP IT RIGHT NOW!! You know those bits will come round again!!

I am planning on doing most of it at the weekend and getting DH to take the baby somewhere for a bit. Love him to bits but i need some of my own time to do anything before i go insane. ;) Shouldn't take long, and then i could also spend some time reading my book or having a soak.

DH has already promised to have him for a few hours, as the baby is so clingy at the moment and won't go to anyone without looking for me, and crying.

Hoover and dust spare room - may set up as Mum comes next Wednesday (was meant to be helping me pack) Plus if we have viewers over weekend they can see single bed fits in room with lots of space.

Will tackle outside shed and reshuffle
Get bits together to list on Ebay
    Do banking
    Playschool run
Try to sort out larder/comp room - box some books up etc so it does not looked cluttered.
  • A most sincere thankyou for tomorrows list Moggins - as I had time on Monday I've already done the main bedroom this week.
I am in awe of all of you that work full time and look after your families and still manage to fly! Today I did all my dailies, left the house at 8.30am to take dd to school then went straight to work - left work at 7.15pm. I am shattered and have to do this double shift tomorrow and friday as well but only till lunchtime on saturday.

    So, today I.....
Washed, dressed and made porridge for littlies
WM x2 - one load still in, the other on the airer
    TD x1
HM tomato sauce out of the freezer to make soup when I get home - just mixed sauce with a drop more water and some rice, cooked for 15 mins and that's my quick soup! :o
BM - made french bread to go with the soup
Quick S&S in the bathroom and kitchen
Have just started tomorrows dinner - potatoes, stock etc in the slow cooker and will add sausages and switch on before I leave tomorrow morning.
    Everyone's packed lunch sorted
Uniforms and clothes ready for tomorrow

My little ds (2.5yrs) leaves the house with dh first thing in the morning to stay with my mum while I work - even though it's usually only the afternoon my mum is too far away for me to take him before I go to work. He was snuggled up in his cot when I came back in so I've been a bit tearful as in my heart I would love to be a stay-at-home-mum but my head says I have to work to feed the littlies and I miss them. guess I'm just tired so I'll go to bed and wake up cheerier tomorrow!
