YEAH!!!! I'm doing really well with this...my kitchen looks clean enough to be a show-kitchen (except for mopping the floor and the bin!) :j:D The livingroom area is clear, just the desk area needs a good sort along with all the ebay stuff being sold (currently selling 2 more items, 2 sold/finished yesterday :D ) and the ironing pile to do.

Planning on demould the bathroom & finishing the hall and stairs when I get back from the school run ;) Going to take my supplies upstairs now so they're ready :D:D

Tea is on in the slowcooker again...the end of the stew is heating up and anything that doesn't go tonight is going in the bin as this will be the 5th (or so) time it's been cooked  Does mean minimal washing up for me tonight though so I might even manage to finish the ironing and start reading one of my new books ;) Okay, if I can get things done by OH coming in (including tackling most of the ironing otherwise no clean clothes for me tomorrow :o ) I'll let myself read after I've washed the tea dishes and made DD's lunch for tomorrow :D Writing those jobs down now... :wave :

Wow you guys are the best, you've all been mega busy :T - anyone want to come and do mine? I can supply tea and biscuits *looks hopeful*

Done all what's on my list/last post and a few extra bits and pieces, but am too lazy to go back and update it so.....

Gonna send teenie to the chippy as I can't be bothered to cook anything now, was planning on doing a dinner but various children have made other arrangements so it'd go to waste, I could quite fancy chips and curry sauce....save on the washing up too - double bonus

Well, I'm off to surf the net for a while, have a nice evening ladies x
  • Well time for an update....

Not done too badly considering my first day. Got a fair few things done from my own list and all the stuff from Wednesday's jobs. Only did a couple from Monday and Tuesday but won't beat myself up about it. Going to meet a friend this evening and need to get ready to go out, otherwise might have had chance to get a few more things done.

In addition to above I cleaned the bathroom skirting boards, put the bath mat and towels in the wash, wiped down all the toiletries/candles etc on display, decluttered the vanity unit and put a couple of the display dishes I have in the bathroom in the dishwasher for proper clean.

    [STRIKE]Extra bit - clean all downstairs doors[/STRIKE]

[STRIKE]5. 15 minutes declutter (aim to do this daily)[/STRIKE]did dining room table and added to the shredder pile in doing so![STRIKE]6. Menu plan for next 5 days whilst DD away[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]7. Freeze milk in fridge so doesn't get wasted[/STRIKE]
    8. Put away clean washing
    9. Go to the gym fell asleep on the sofa - only had a few hours sleep last night so that's my excuse. Will try and go tomorrow and work twice as hard!
[STRIKE]10. Start shopping list for running out items/items needed for menu planner[/STRIKE]

Right I am off now - thanks for the welcome everyone and I am going to enjoy my red wine this evening knowing I have got off to a flying start! Bye for now.

Bathroom done, doors done, laundry done, most dailies done, still trying to keep up with being half term and have been out a lot, but managing, just! Also did 2 hours sorting in DS1s room which is a task in itself, all his DVDs, books etc now sorted, AGAIN!!! And yay I have eventually found his library books, one of which was got out before Christmas and have had to just keep renewing it :o

Still got a few things I wanted to get done and a couple of dailies, aswell as nighttime (finding it helps even with it being hols as taking packed lunch when we are out etc) but as long as the main lists done trying not to fret over it. Into overdrive next week I think when they return to school!

Hope everyone else is having a good day.
One day I might be more organised...........
