Fairly productive day but still don't know what a floordrobe is? And OH has come home tonight (I was expecting hiim to be away) and undone lots of my good work. How do you stop your OHs messing everything straight back up?

    i don't live with mine :D

but it does drive me mad when he comes at the weekend and doesn't seem to be able to tidy up after himself :( i think its worse as he's currently living with his parents so his mum does everything....

  • Ah, thanks, well at least I don't have that job to do. I hate putting clothes away but always FORCE myself to do it. It is the one job that takes a lot of effort.

I force myself to do it too, my nightly routine includes put all dirty clothes in the washing basket, hang dressing gowns up (BF has a habit of throwing his on the floor), putting clean clothes away if there are any and then putting out the clothes ready for tomorrow.

I used to be terrible, when I lived by myself I often had an empty wardrobe and 2 piles of clothes on the floor, one clean and one dirty. The clean ones originally were in a separate basket but I'd forever empty that onto the floor to find something.

The only problem I have now is that I can see how dirty our cream carpet is!

    enjoy your new bed, lil_me

i've just had a massive clearout of my cosmetics/toiletries drawer - everything is now sectioned in mushroom containers, tins, etc. :D hopefully will stop the scramble for the right things in the mornings :)

have also updated my budget and have managed to give myself an extra tenner a week spends because of paring down my spending :) planning to add any leftover each week to a pot for extras.

really want to order the thrifty ways book...think i might be able to get it from play with nectar points, but can't get onto the nectar site

no moggins' list for me tomorrow as done no kids and did study today :D
