    Scaredy Cat

    CHICKEN & LEEK PIE

I make it with left over chicken after a roast. I chop leeks and saute off with little bit of butter. While they are softening I make a white sauce but crumble an chicken oxo in to it. I then stir in the chicken and leek. Make pastry and bung in oven.

It really is very nice but one of those made up recipes on the spur of the moment so no exact measurements.

How ON EARTH do you people find the time not only to do all this, but to post on here all about it too!!

I'm not having a go - am sincerely curious - do you work? And by that I DON'T mean you should work, just a sincere question.

My DH has come home with four rastberry canes and two redcurrent bushes. I sent him straight up to the allotment with them. Don't think he's too impressed with me!
