I'm not really much worse of on benefits compared to NMW by the time you factor in tax credits, HB, free school meals, dental/health etc So I don't know what that says, benefits to high or NMW to low? Probably NMW to low, still rather be working though
Benefits are too high and NMW too high.
Those who feel entitled to live in London would probably disagree with both of my opinions.Said Aristippus, “If you would learn to be subservient to the king you would not have to live on lentils.”
Said Diogenes, “Learn to live on lentils and you will not have to be subservient to the king.”0 -
how is £67.50 too high??? I live in Essex and a bed sit here is £600-£700 a month so have no idea how people on NMW live to be honest.Derivative wrote: »Benefits are too high and NMW too high.

I don't live in London and I don't agree, the cost of living is to high, thats the issue. There is such a things as a living wage, the NMW doesn't come close, if it did there would be no need for tax credits to bump wages up.0 -
