so where is this Lidl located hun? I could do with a bit more excitement in my life - and compared to your Lidl MY Aldi is boring! full of nice polite people! including the staff!

It must be a Lidl thing, my local one is the same.

I've been doing the weekly shop there for the past 3 weeks due our pennies slowly running out, and I've seen a 30-40% saving on the usual Mr T or A shop.

I bought enough to keep us ticking over until Monday and spent a meagre £27....for 2 adults, a teen and 11 year old. :T

I don't think that could be true as it would be illegal. Lidl would be seen as trying to avoid employers NI, which would be frowned upon by HMRC.
