Fred - would it be ok to log everything next week as I don't have time now (I'm going camping in this weather I must be mad!!)

Hope everyone stays safe in this horrible weather

Yes it's fine to log everything next week - have a fantastic time away - don't get blown away (or washed away)

fred, any chance i can slip back on the 5lbs challenge?

I'm so pleased with myself, its weigh in day and i lost 3lbs! so thats half a stone in 2 weeks, so happy, especially as i didnt go to my exercise classes on mon and tuesday because of the jubilee, so i went to zumba on thursday only, i have had a few treats this week, so i am happy and means that since i have started i have finally lost my 1st stone, it has been hard gettoing here and understanding what i need to do and understanding what works for me best, i have been balancing my meals with at least 2 portions of veg, mainly green beans and sweetcorn, or mixed veg, so its a learning curve, but i do hope now that i am on the right path.

thanks to all you guys who have had kind words along the way, beanie, lolly, fred etc.

off to update sig with a smile on my face!

    Hey Everyone,

Aww Franby :(, I know exactly how you feel. I've been here nearly 18 months and haven't even hit the stone mark yet! (well, I did, but I fell off the wagon and piled a load back on :o). I want to lose weight so much, but it is so difficult to feel motivated 24 hours a day... and so easy to slip up! I hope you find your motivation soon. Maybe a new aproach will help, as Fred suggested. :)

I was reading something last week that said that eating little and often is best, which I've heard a thousand times, but they went on to say that your stomach is around the size of your fist, so eating more than that is completely unneccessary and will only overload your stomach. It's all just common sense, but for some reason it has really made me things in a new light. My portions were never massive to begin with, but my new rule is to stick to fist sized portions and eating more regularly and see what happens. I'm hoping that if I stick it out for a few weeks then the small portions will become 'normal'... then I'll just have to cut out the carp and I'll have the perfect diet, lol.

Ms Night Ryder - You're very welcome!!! lol, it's good to hear you so positive! :j Ooh, and well done on the loss :)

Weigh in was not great gained +1.5lb but not too surprised as been crazy week and ended up with a take away a couple times, either that or not eat :-( no weigh in from me for next couple weeks as busy! My ickle baby girl turns 1 tomorrow!!!!! so lots of party cake and relatives visiting etc!

exercise (if you added me fred if not ignore) is about 3 hours walking so far this week. Also is it possible just to give you the calorie estimates from myfitnesspal if i am inputing all the info on that? ie just put wot i have donr and calories? Would it be quicker/easier for you?

    Hi all

Reporting in with a -1lb loss again this week. I'm happy with that.

For the next 2 weeks I'm following a detox diet based on the caveman diet, which is quite restrictive but is supposed to have amazing results, so next week's WI will be interesting. It's challenging and I've got a headache from caffeine withdrawal at the moment.

Good luck to everyone with your Weigh In.

    LL :)
