    Hi all

I haven't disappeared, I'm just having a rethink and will be back soon.

Getting a bit fed up with my own lack of commitment and I'm wondering what it will take to snap out of my apathy and tackle my problem, because it IS a problem and it will only get worse.

Anyway, well done to all of you, losses or otherwise :).

    Don't worry we'll still be here. :)

I've taken a different approach myself lately too - am currently resetting my metabolism which for me means eating double the calories that I've been doing for the last couple of years. I've been doing it for 5 weeks - but haven't put on any weight other than 2lbs in the first week :). I've another few weeks and then will start reducing calories again and hopefully that will kick start my weight loss again as I've been STS for months.

    Congrats Beani on SOTW!

Realised I forgot to sign myself up to any of the challenges. Not a great month for it tbh but would like to be aded to 5lb challenge and I will try the exercise challenge (not sure how i will do but it doesn't hurt to try!)

I will weigh in this week but then will be missing a couple of weigh ins. I dont think this month will be good I have my wedding anniversary on the 19th, my daughter Haidee's 1st birthday on the 13th, my birthday on the 14th. Party/bbq for all these on the 16th. Then my husbands work has there annual rounders match on the 21st (which is weigh in day!) and it always includes FREE all you can eat bbq/food and FREE alcohol/drinks! so it will be a fab evening but awful for slimming! Will try to remember to log my exercise!

If it is too late Fred then just ignore my request, As i said I have a busy month so may not succeed anyway!

Thanks for the chart Fred, and well done Beanie! :T

I did some measurable exercise today, went to visit MIL in hospital, and she'd requested a copy of the local paper which I bought from the hospital shop - at the other end of the hospital! I didn't realise how big the place was, but it took 20 minutes of brisk walking to get there and back again.

I'm having a break from decorating for a few days to list clothes on e-bay. Mostly my Mum's - she had a habit of buying things from catalogues and instead of sending them back if they weren't suitable, she just put them away in the cupboard. When I was sorting through her things it seemed daft to give brand new clothes to charity, so I decided to try raising some money by selling them.

It takes such a long time, photographing, measuring, writing up the descriptions - then I'll have despatch to do if they sell. Keeps me busy I suppose!

    Have a good week.
