Hi - please may I join.
I was horrified when I was weighed in 3 weeks ago at WW, so really am focused at losing weight.
In 3 weeks I have lost 7lb so am very pleased. The only way that works is serious tracking - it is tedious but works for me.
I work shifts so need to be organised so that I take food with me instead of buying the meal deal at the supermarket, saves money too!
All the best to everyone in this challenge.:)

2 miles brisk walking for me today please. I would have walked more but I misjudged how cold it was outside, lulled into a false sense of security when I saw the sun out!DFW Nerd 1394.

Hi all
Thanks for all the condolences, it's very kind. I'm feeling a bit more upbeat today, the sun has been shining and it makes me glad to be alive.
Fred - can you put me down for 2km again today please. I swam a mile this morning, can that count? (It'll get me part of the way across the channel, I'll have to thumb a lift from a passing boat after that, lol!)
Welcome to Seventiesgal and Lizziebabe - let us know how you're getting on and you'll soon feel at home, we're all friendly.I'm doing WW as well Lizzie, I started at the beginning of the year and I quite like the new ProPoints system.
Hope the weather has been kind to everyone this weekend.
Back soon.

Thanks Frodo!
Jess - I find that the power plate is an acquired taste, lol! Most of my friends have tried mine and they either love it or hate it. I really enjoy it but find that my skin gets all tingly (a bit like mild pins and needles!) if I go on it for too long!
Lois - Really sorry to hear about your friend.
Welcome to all the new people! :j
Well I've just had a really good workout - 50 mins, 476 cals! (used my Polar FT4). Need to get it out more often as it does spur me on, although I do find myself checking it more often than I should, which can distract me.
Having a bit of a diet crisis. I'm mulling along and not really sticking to anything. Think I need a fresh start, and strict rules. Not sure what to go for though - any suggestions? I've been considering some sort of plan, but I don't really know what. I also need something that allows the odd slip up without throwing the whole plan out, as willpower has never been my strong point
