I've had two really good days at the gym, todays better than yesterdays! I did 10k on a sit down bike, then today did 10k on the proper bike which was so much harder! Thought i would only do 5k, but managed 10! Then we did a range of weights with mroe weight this time so i'm feeling really pleased
I went to sainsburys and bought some of their basic frozen fruit. I wacked it into the blender with some water, milk and a tiny bit of sugar and i'm now drinking it! Its nice!

Hi
1lb loss today so now 13st 2lb.
Fred - I did my swimming yesterday (3km) and walked to town and back today (2km) so now up to 17km.
DD2 has asked to join the local gym and is having an 'induction' on Saturday.
I'd like to do this as well but I don't have anything to wear! Need to get some joggers!
Hope everybody had a good week.August Shopping Challenge. 26/8. Budget £250 Spent £256.81.. £6.81 over. So £0.00 a day left.0 -
It's a loss of -1lb for me this week - thanks, Fred.
I joined a gym the other day. My induction is on Friday - feel really nervous about it and totally intimidated, esp since I want to concentrate on the weights and that section was full of big muscly men. I want to do this though, so I signed up for 6 months before I could talk myself out of it :rotfl:0 -
Well done newbie, you seem to be exercising a lot.
Since my weigh in I have felt more motivated, walked on Monday and on Tuesday was having a chat with the Zumba teacher and she mentioned that I looked like I had lost weight as during class she looked at me and saw my waist was small, she gave me advice once I told her that i only exercised on tuesdays, told me to try and walk more and try to do another activity, I am a typical pear shape and my waist is the first place to loose weight, although I love my shape I really need to get my legs and spare tire down, that's what I ideally want, got a Zumba class tomorrow evening and i walked today for 25 minutes, may walk to the Zumba place as I have 2 hours to kill in between work and the class, ELiot.g would kill just over an hour and is defiantly an option.Lose 28lb 3/28lb

It's a loss of 1lb for me this week too Fred, total weight loss 16lbs.
I'm pleased with that as I had a very challenging week with so many social occasions that involved eating and drinking! Thankfully I also managed to use every opportunity to be active and I think that helped.
Can't remember when I last logged exercise, so here goes with what I've done since last Wednesday:
Thursday - walked 2km, 2 hours linedancing
Friday - 1 hour aquacise
Saturday - 2 hours linedancing
Tuesday - walked 4km, 1 hour pilates, 2 hours linedancing
Sorry I haven't been around much, life is getting in the way.
Back soon,

Agree Alliwantistosave. I often wonder what size I would be if I hadn't spent most of my life messing up my metabolism by dieting and then putting back on twice as much!
Fred - another STSfor me i'm afraid

Hey all,
FS: STS which is all good.
Still running twice a week and body pump Mondays although have missed a few as the class sells out and I am always running late.
Managed 4 miles tonight with a personal best time for mile 8 mins 4 Secs.
Hope you are all well and achieve what you are targeting

Occy how do you find Bodypump. I am tempted to have a go, but those weights look so heavy!0
