    Morning all

Well, my week of low activity didn't seem to do me any harm as I've lost 3lbs, total weight loss 1 stone 1lb! :D

Don't worry, I'm not kidding myself - this week I'll be right back on the plan. I've got a few challenges to face though - on Wednesday we're going to do the 'ruta de la tapa' in Cartagena, which is basically a pub crawl, Spanish style. There are about 50 establishments that are hoping to win a prize for their tapa, and we'll be visiting 5 or 6 of them and sampling one in each.

On Friday we're going out to dinner with OH's tennis buddies, on Saturday we're out for the day at a country and western show - plenty of opportunities for linedancing, but I'll have to be careful with food and drink. It's OH's birthday at the weekend, so on Sunday I'm cooking a special dinner, his request - steak pie - and on Monday we're out for dinner again with OH's golf buddies!

I'm going to try to make sensible choices with the meals and take as many opportunities to exercise as I can to compensate for any extra points that are consumed. And I've volunteered to be the designated driver for the tapas run and the golf dinner so at least I won't be tempted with alcohol.

Hope everyone had a good weekend - good luck with your weigh-ins.

  • I think my scale is bust. I didn't believe the weight it first read, so I stood on it four more times, all with different results.

Not sure if I should just go with the highest weight, or post a STS this week

Does anyone have a recommendation for a really good digital scale under £40?

The WeightWatchers one from Argos is probably as good as any. http://www.argos.co.uk/static/Product/partNumber/8321808/c_1/1|category_root|Home+and+furniture|14417894/c_2/2|14417894|Bathroom|14418043/c_3/3|cat_14418043|Bathroom+scales|14418073.htm

There are redundancies in my office :( so the cake and chocolate are flowing today, am not inclined to say no. (My job is safe luckily)

It's funny how we all turn to food for comfort in these stressful times. I too ate my way through my redundancy last April. Luckily following the redundancy I had time to exercise it off before I got my new job.

3 mile walk and another 1 hour bootcamp for me today please Fred.

    Hey,

Sorry I've been missing. Wedding planning has suddenly got very busy...

I've been keeping up with my weight loss though. I think the last time I updated was 3rd week of January. Since then I have lost another 7lbs to make a total weight loss of 12.5lbs. Annoyingly the only things that are looser are my engagement ring and wedding ring and my wedding shoes lol. I have another 8 weeks to try to lose as much as possible.

I won't join the team because although I'd like to update, I don't want to let any team down by not updating but I will join the 5lbs challenge.

I got made redundant 2 weeks ago. It was hard to stay away from the good food.

    Hi everyone!

Through cycling, walking and the wave machine at the gym I've clocked up 24.5 km so far plus 1hr of Zumba.

Am trying a Bokwa class tomorrow, has anyone else done it? x

    Hi all

Fred - can you log 6km walking, 1 hour pilates and 90 minutes of linedancing please.

Went to a birthday party this afternoon and managed to resist so many offerings of food, but I did succumb to a small piece of black forest gateau - it was full of cherries, so that's healthfood, right..? :p

    Back soon.
