Welcome!
I take it everyone is out in our glorious weather right now?
Went for a swim this morning and decided to take DD's dog for a walk when I got back as hair already wet. Both me and the dog got soaked, but not as bad as the poor postman who I passed doing his rounds!!
Another 2 and and a half hours to add to the challenge please Fred. (1 hour Bodypump, 1 hour walking and half an hour swim)0 -
Morning all
I've got the serious grumps this morning - OH rang me and I nearly chewed his ear off, poor thing.
Lots of reasons, and I'll save you from the main ones, but my weight is really annoying me. I've cut out all sweet treats - even yogurt is out - and I feel properly deprived, but is it making any difference? No!
I think I'll just go and eat worms - or a huge slice of carrot cake...
Back soon, hopefully in a better mood.

Are you eating enough LL?
Maybe try increasing what you eat (healthy options though - no sweets) to increase your calories might be enough to kick start you?0 -

Hi all
Sorry about my foot stamping yesterday - things haven't changed but I'm feeling a bit better about life today. Having a new grandchild should be a time of joy for all the family, but my daughter is being a proper b*tch and spoiling it. She lives 250 miles away and came all that way to visit her new nephew, who lives 5 minutes away, but she couldn't make the effort to come and see us.She'd rather stay in a hotel than stay at ours for nothing!
Anyway, I'm not going to go on about it here.
Fred - thanks for the advice, you may have a point about whether I'm eating enough. I haven't been using the WW tracker for a while because I want to control my intake without it, in an effort to make it what I do for life, rather than while I'm paying WW fees, if that makes sense. I'm often hungry and just ignore it, so I'm going to start tracking again and make sure I use all my points.
Can you put me down for an hour of aquarobics too.
Beanie - shall we form a gainer's club?
Catch you later,

Families eh! My family are only small and its funny how my brother can cause a bit of bad feeling sometimes. Then my boyfriends family is big and widespread, so when they all get together its even worse!
Venting is always advised lois, it clears the soul!
I'm still in painI've hardly moved this last week and today i drove for the first time. I take my hat off to people who have to live with pain on a regular basis, and try to lose weight at the same time. What a battle!

Hi,
The last week has been the usual exercise activities for me. I previously mentioned getting behind with the gardening. This is moretheless still the case.
fredsnail, please record sts and for the moon challenge 2 hours and 3 minutes.
The constant pouring rain and darker mornings make it harder to get out biking or walking now so hoping this can be overcome somehow.

Morning all,
I've not got this new diet off to a great start, and only managed a STS this weekIt's all my own fault, not really got into the swing of things, like Lois, got myself into a bit of a grump, and got mad busy with work, so I decided to eat cake! Also, starting a diet on * week was probably not one of my better planned strategies.
So, it all starts again this week, and I'll put in more effort. I know it's in part down to me struggling to do without the bread, even if it is wholemeal. It always seems to come back down to that demon. I also keep leaving it too long until I eat, so that I'm starving hungry when I do, which is always a time when I could overeat. I need to plan better, and eat before I get ravenous.
I blame the awful weather for it. I hope everyone is managing to stay flood-free right now. Feel so sorry for those affected that I've seen on the news.
Here's to a better week ahead! One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Morning all
Fred - 1lb off for me this week, and 1 hour of Pilates.
Yesterday I went right back to basics - I weighed and measured everything that passed my lips and recorded every item on WW, and guess what, I had points left over - quite a few! Today I'm going to eat more starting with a larger than normal bowl of porridge this morning.
I think my work schedule has an affect - I start work at 1 o'clock, and I have to leave the house at 12.30, so I either have lunch at home before I go, or take something with me, but then don't eat until 2. I'm not ready to eat at 12 so I don't eat very much then, but get hungry later in the afternoon well before 6.30 when I have my evening meal. Anyone have any suggestions to get round this?
Good luck to everyone still to weigh in.
