Yes you can. With semi-skimmed, for sure, because it's what I have a round the place most of the time.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there. i presume the poster got the letters muddle up and it spelt out see you next tuesday
i am interested in how to do it in a slow cooker as someone said on this tread that they managed to burn it in theirs and the posts on here have different timings. also theres a mention of putting the pudding in the slow cooker in a bain marie. i know what this is, but dont really know how i would use it in the slow cooker. would it involve water inthe cooker and then the pudding in a separate dish inside the cooker??? the crock pot has a smaller base so dont think i have any dishes that fit into this space. i have the crock pot version
im also wondering about the price difference in running the slow cooker for 4 or 6 or 8 hours to putting the oven on very low for 2 or 3 hours0 -
I have some pudding rice and milk, but no idea what quantities/ratios to use. Does anybody have an easy recipe for rice pudding, maybe even for the slow cooker? have never made it before but love the stuff
I have some creamed coconut in the cupboard would I be able to substitute that for some of the sugar maybe?0
