I substitute some of the milk for a tin of evaporated milk and use light muscavado sugar with a big knob of butter, it ends up like caramel. Yum.

Is it unflavoured rice? You can use 'savoury' rice (it's all savoury until you add sugar), rather than pudding rice, to make a rice pudding.

Absolutely - any type of rice can make pudding.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.

    Rice Pudding
    2 pints of milk
    3oz rice
    2oz sugar

Butter an earthenware container and put all ingredients in it and pop in oven for an hour or two on 170. Alternatively you can do it slow cooker.

Might not need so much cooking though as think the grains are processed to cook quicker

I made rice pudding last Sunday, haven't made it for years. It was so nice, so unlike the tinned variety.
