Hi all,
I've tried a couple of rice pudding recipes (both from 'kids' cookbooks) but they weren't that great. They both came out quite dry - more rice than pudding, if you know what I mean.
Has anyone got a tried and tested gooey recipe just like my nan used to make?0 -
Hi all
Just wondered if anyone had a recipe for rice pudding?
I remember as a child (am 32 now) everytime we went to visit my nan she made this huge dish of rice pudding in the oven and we all used to fight over the skin! lol Would ask her but sadly shes no longer with us.
So just wondered if anyone had a tried and tested recipe that is lovely too?
Thanks

Can anyone tell me the 'proper' way to make rice pudding.
OH and I like it made with long grain rice. We also quite like it with ground rice but there never seems to be enough.
My mum insists that it should only be made with flaked rice which just seems to dissolve.
What do you think?0
