I think its such a shame that all people are ever told is "Dont eat that" "that's bad for you"
We need to educate people into healthy eating, which in my opinion is everything in moderation.
Why can we not be educated rather, than people trying to scrae us about food we "shouldn't eat" like the crisps advert- eating a pack of crisps is like drinking a gallon of oil a year.
Could we not promote a balanced diet, why includes a little of everything.
Otherwise you get the people who dont care and dont understand and end up overweight, or to the other extreme where people are so worried about what they should and shouldnt be eating it turns into Eating disorders.
All this pressure on food is not healthy.
Eat well and excercise well, its called a balance.0 -
Here's my wife.....
Just look at her bingo wings & cup holder.
.....incidentally, her size has absolutely nothing to do with Krispy Kreme.....she just eats too much in general (she says it's her metabolism...LOL).
Having her this size is a good moneysaving move though.....our heating bills have plummeted.0 -

i agree with you melissa we do live in a bit of a nanny state. Everyone telling us what to do etc. Have you seen the advert for the breakfast cereal where the bloke is agreeing with our views, its quite good, cant remember what he says though.Like what I said? click thanks!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Hi Melissa
Thanks for your email and we're glad that you like our doughnuts!
In answer to your question- we are looking into taking the transfats out of our doughnuts, and are quite a way down the journey to having that live in our stores. One thing that we're very conscious of is not compromising on the taste, so we've gone through quite a few alternatives to ensure that you still get the same tasty doughnut.
We can't commit to a time yet, but please know that we're working to get this introduced as fast as possible (without compromising the taste!)
Thanks again for your email and do let me know if you've got any more questions.

When I used to work in morrisons I made doughnuts sometimes and I used to love double jamming them cause theres nothing worse then not getting jam all inside your dougnut! Or doing 99 doughnuts which is the highest setting and watching them explode! lol.
