Very true
Well it's his loss
I am willing to bet there are a lot of women out there who wouldn't have been so nice about it !! His loss I reckon ....
One thing I have decided is - I don't want to be a grown up any more .... I want to be back at home with my Wham Posters and my training bra !! :rotfl:

Your only worry was if the new boy would even look at you and what to wear to the school disco on FridayThe final chapter - £4893 to go out of £30K0 -

Ooh I was there too Sista
My finest hour was the day I decided I didn't want to go to school , I wanted to go shopping. So I hopped on the bus and proudly waved & gave the "v" sign to the headmaster as the bus drove past the school :rotfl:

:rotfl: classic!! :rotfl:
Mine was the day when i too didn't fancy going to school and wanted to go shopping.......me and a 'boy' used our bus passes and jumped on a random bus in the town centre, ended up 'out of the area' in which to use our passes so when we got on the bus to come back home the conductor saidwe had to beg and plead with him to take us back to our town (30 ish miles away ) we were nearly stranded!!!

Love it !!!
All I can say Sista is that it's a flamin good job that you & I weren't at school together
I did run into my headmaster about 4 years ago - he was still helping at the school where my eldest was. He looked at me for the longest time and said "ah so ******* is your son ? Lovely kid - could tell him a few stories about his Mum. You were a bright student - its a pity you were such a pain in the a**"
Needless to say , I was mortifiedThe final chapter - £4893 to go out of £30K0 -
Hi Coco.
I've just been catching up after a hectic week and weekend. I got back from my travels Friday night and spent yesterday at a friends wedding. I'm still a bit jet lagged.
A lot of things seem to have happened. When I read your post about what the ex said my first thought was that there was a possible upside.
He gets the house and pays the mortgage and you have a financial burden lifted. You keep the boys and move somewhere affordable.
Then I read on and that's not on the cards it seems. Never mind.
If you think about things logically nothing has changed. All you have to do is be strong and don't let him mess with your head, you have enough to think about without having him running about in there messing things up.
Well done for going to the CAB although you didn't get the best person first time round. :0)
Be positive and stay the course with the CAB and I'm sure the info they give you will help you speak to the right people.
The call from the council housing officer was a real bonus, I hope he'll be able to help too.
Look how far you've come, if you doubt it just go back and read this thread from the start. You've made giant strides and don it with humour, courage, determination and above all dignity.
I agree with Triple Choc about the boys. They are in an impossible position, whatever they say looks like they are taking sides either against you or their Dad. What you have to remember is that they love you both and shouldn't be asked to decide. If, at some point in the future, they di have to decide support them whatever their decision. They may go, they may stay. They may go then come back. They might even want to do a few weeks with each it doesn't mean they don't love you.
Treat them well and they will always come back and always respect you.
Keep fighting and don't lose your sense of humour. You were right a few posts back, it's his loss. One by one the penguins are slowly stealing my sanity.0 -
