I predicted some time ago that the "workfare" idea of Silver spoon Cameron and his puppy could have the potential to put half of the country out of work.
Now one of the countries biggest employers has joined.

Why is Vax's post drivel?0 -
Because vax sits in DT to do nothing other than make pointless rants about stuff the gubbermint is doing. There are plenty of threads in there about it. This has nothing to do with the title of the forum.0

Its to do with employment and jobseeking so is relevant. I cant believe the job is for permanent nights for JSA and expenses!!. I hope all unemployed people buoycott Tesco.0

I see nothing of a rant in Vax's post here.
Like dandelion clock says, it is about employment and jobseeking so I think it's very relevant.0 -
I recently applied for a job in Tescos doing nights, the money was decent which is probably why they have started doing this, £6.85 ph before mid night then an extra £1.20 ph after 12, Time and a half at weekends. Why pay someone this money when you can get them for free.0

Do these companies actually get workers for free or do they pay something to the Government.
I guess it's still cheaper for them to do that then it is to employ workers themselves though.0 -
I thinks its absolutley disgraceful expecting someone to work for nothing when they clearly have the means to pay them. What about the right to be paid?0
