Back from the holiday in Wales. was quite mse, as we had a quiet break, DD went for walk for dad and dog some evening, otherwise she went to the machines with a £1.
She was so gd as we had bingo most days, but we had limit fo £1 each for bingo, £1 each for 2ps.
Mums had her stitches out, all healed.

Plan for Sunday/Mon to finish clearing emails and putting stuff away. Then back to debt busting.

Got free tickets to some museums localy, thats a few days out planned, xx

i've come to a decision tonight and am going to start getting everything into action over the next couple of weeks, although i had the lightbulb moment that finally stuck on last yr, can't believe its 12mths ago, i tried the self managed DMP, without sounding daft its literally come back to kick me in the teeth, as some debts were reduced interest, they've now waived the arrears off (off arrears but back onto the card), and this now means the money been paying has brought me back into the correct payment barrier, so therefore all the interest goes on.
With the figures there asking for its another £100 per month, when i did my dmp it said I had £250 free, but robbing peter to pay paul extra i've been back upto £400. it hit home tonight, I was lucky got DD some school shoes from Brantano, shes got Hush puppies £20 instead of £50, but really thinking if I pay the full amount on bills, where does the money from uniform come from,

I've done the DMP and it says i have £250 per month and they recommend dmp, there manage it, (one from here so know all money would go to creditors)

a lot of it is interest, I'd don;t want to run away from it, but its starting to each up into everyday thoughts and need some proper help. Going to use August to get everything chenged over need new bank account - overdraft. Just got to hope they accept it.

Other museums, - no spend take picnic and do 2 or 3 in day

DD - Got funday with the REd Cross

I don't know whether i'm over worrying as always, or feel guilty, but the school sent a book what did you do over the 6 week of the school holidays, feel awful if there is nothing in there.

I guess we were lucky we had 2 weeks in Wales (cheapie and quiet holiday) did some things and filled a few pages in, I was talking to one of the other mothers she was fuming, as it feels like if you haven't got the money for theme parks, holidays abroad in the summer, then your a failure, so really trying to do the best on a budget.

    Sorry for the ramble........ xx

At last were getting somewhere, after a string of issues with our GP surgery, we finally took the plunge and changed surgerys, felt awful leaving, as mum and dad been there 52yrs, i've been there 41yrs and DD nearly 10 yrs.

We've moved to out walk in centre, - had checks up this morning with doctor and nurse, felt so sorry for the doc, as the 4 of us moved, and taking in all our mediciations, (me and mum have a carrier bag full each!!).

With one initial conversation the difference was amazing, I came out feeling i'm not an idiot, thats its ok to have bad days, there doing so much more for us health wise that hopefully be able to move forward, he gave me some numbers to ring as well.

Got weighed with the nurse, won't say its gd news, but then its not bad news, my weight has stayed the same since after xmas, considering had pig out on hols. Its something need to address, but as the nurse said there be a time when a click happens that weight next thing to address.

Miracle happened DD opened up and talked to him, more than she has done for the last 12 mths, - he's not happy with the bat and ball effect we've been having, and he's looking into that.

I guess the debts have been a contributary factor, and it def made me feel right about going down CCCS route.

I've decided to have a couple of days next week looking into funding for my degree, theres a change to the regulations for new degrees starting after Sept, as a part time student you can take upto 12 yrs for the degree and be funded, currently its 6 yrs, so hoping that might be an option.

Not quite a cheap day as planned, a friend gave me code for the orange 2 4 1, but went wrong somewhere so had to pay for 2 tickets, but the lad was nice and put them both through as child tickets, saved a couple of quid.

Then (slightly mse) took DD out for lunch we had £5 off £15 spend Hungary Horse pub, so treat, we had pudding, but shared it!! thou it did stuff us, we had to leave some!!

Looks like all going well, we got conformation 2ngt that the hot air ballon trip going tomorrow morning, DD really plzed and dad is. (3rd time lucky) but as I said they were originally due to go in May, so got better weather now.

My statements are starting to come in, and haly have "lied" as they said last month as I had pd 12 months, not spent etc, they would put the arrears back in card and monthly payment not much more than payment (£40 pm) the statement wants £165.........

What the statement wants and what they get are unfortunatly 2 different things, the way i look now its one less statement to find for my DMP.

Next step sort bank account, did had one at LLoyds - but there in with halifax so stuffed.

    it be co-op or natwest.

    Evans (assosicated with santander)
    Halifax (od/loan/card/aqua card)
    Bcard (card)

    odd ones
    Vanquis, Argos, Studio........ x

I'd go with Co-Op hun, we are with the Natwest and when they recently had their problems it really affected us as we were left waiting for money, also they pay direct debits which are due out on a Monday on the Saturday morning which always annoys me lol. I've heard great stuff about Co-Op though but think you need to go in branch to set it up.

Halifax can be right asses sometimes, I had bank charges with them a few years back and they messed me about loads, was glad to get my money back from them though.

I've already told you about what Vanquis have said to us, I'm still waiting to hear from Studio though, hoping it doesn't take too long. Cos I haven't paid them for a while they've added a few charges, would be nice if they would stop interest. x
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

DD and dad finally got their hot air ballon trip today, they had a false start, as it was misty at take off site, so they had a 35mile drive, but they loved it.
DDs 1st time, but dads 3rd, she wants to go again!!! She will have a bit of a wait!!!

Have a sort out of the garage this afternoon, emptied the loft 5 yrs ago, and dumped the stuff in garage, then have managed to refill the loft!! Got 2 boxes of stuff that we can use in the house, (money saving), 3 boxes of stuff for car boot, the rest get used eventally.

Even found 2 sets of posh candles on tray, picked them up in sale for £2 they were originally £20, forget where I put them, so thats now added to xmas list, looking more positive.

Just got mum, dads, DD and a couple fo knick nacks or friends to finish off. xx
