we had the most weird experience this afternoon, took some flowers upto the Crematorium, and when we were in chapel a Red Admiral butterfly flew in and landed on mums skirt, she freaked a bit, so took it off her and flew onto Miss Hoodies hand, it stayed there, Miss Hoodie walked around with it, dad took her to where my sisters ashes were buried, and the butterfly jumped off her hand and went on the ground, but wouldn't move off the spot, then as Miss hoodie walked away the butterfly came back to her, we sat on the bench for 15mins, the butterfly was there, we tried lining it up with flower bushes, no, it even stayed whislt Karen got in the car, we opened the windows so it would fly out, stayed put, drove off, but the minute we got to the exit gate the butterfly flew away, and went back into the crem.
Peaceful, lovely but a weird experience, sods law hadn't got camera or phone to take the pic. x
Debt wise have had everything confirmed and Natwest account is up and running apparently I should recieve my debit card and pin in next couple of days. It has a free £100 overdraft, thou don't want to use it, but as a buffer zone then ok.
Once get that will ring and write re getting all incomings changed, then swop couple of cirect debits that I need, then implement CCCS - double check all figures again, with July statements coming in be 100% accurate and only paying token payment wont make any difference. So hopefully Sept will be the fresh start that I need.
Trying to get life sorted in bits and dabs, and sort DD out, (nicest way), shes not adjusting well to the situation with her dad on baord, just got to do the best can do, xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
Feel quite positive at the mo, thou had a bit of a panic big package from solicitor, (dealt with the ex situ), thought oh heck here we go again, but bless he was returning a pile of documents that I had sent in, big phew.
We had day out friends, lunch posh pub, there was 5 of them and me and DD, they wouldn't let us pay towards lunch, then we went to icecream farm, it was heaving, we got a table, then had to do relays for coffee, ice cream, toilet stops.
DD loved it as my friends daughter her bf has a daughter, shes same age as DD, they hit it off, went on the climbing frames, panning for gold.
Ice cream was las lush, they have over 40 flavours.... not gd for the figure!!
have car booked in Monday for tracking and new tyre....
Next week - DD asked can she have a baking day!! she's marked about 10 recipes off.
Started declutter, got 30 bits for ebay, managed to get half done 2ngt, finish rest 2mor.
Got to celebrate the positive xxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
i think my car should be gold plated, - needed work on steering rack, tracking, new tyre.... bless him dad ended up helping out again! Put £100 up for tyre and tracking, but with extra work £156.00 with discout as friends brother in law runs the garage! could have done with 100% discount xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0

Baking day planned, DD went through the recipie books and choose 30 items, narrowed it down to 5 things

Def not calorie free!!
Debt wise - everything looks on par for new bank account, had all postal details, signed and they said 2-3 days for card + pin.
So have list ready of who need to ring then write to confirm change of details.
Once that sorted send the letters saying sorry you only got £x etc - now off to CCCS. I gave it 12 months at trying, and in all honestly out of 10 creditors its 2 that are the pain, but its hassle than I can't or don't want to deal with at least this way everyone gets a fair percentage of money and dads bank account gets some freedom as last couple of months he has really had to bail me out.
Debt wise paid £90 off bills this morning, not much but its something
Think the car and the school holidays have really taken the toll this time with money, hopefully when CCCS up and running be in a better position to get on with life xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -

Saturday wasn't too bad £4 soend.
Took DD to see Topcat, (£1 each) thou I enjoyed it more than her, took own popcorn and drinks in.
afternoon - went to National trust property, dad and dog came with us (memebership), they went for walk round the site, I sat with drink and my kindle. £2.00 drink - if I had of thought took my own.
Finally got off my rear, and updated bank charges, £1,300...... so have done letter from the site, all ready to print off and go in Mondays post.
Told Cap 1 - that i was starting a dmp, so would only be doing token payment wanted £37, paid £15, relief to get the 1st out of the way, just got to ring them back when up and running with a reference.
Now have new account full up + running, got all bar 1 statement ready fro CCCS, but think know where it is, got to recap figures 2mor, then send final in, so by Monday some poor person will get my file.
OU, I have some credit from last yr, so at a puch if do 1 course this yr mean pay £400 - then can do this, and then nxt yr funding try for student loan, need to get teeth into something.
Def be no spenf day 2mor, - think crafting with DD. xxxx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
after all the fluffling around, i have filled in the forms for CCCS - went throught everything with a fine toothcomb, I have done 10 goes over the last 10 months!! but ticked the box to have all the paperwork sent out to me, so I can send the letters / call creditors that CCCS are taking it. Feels a relief.
If (thats a big if!!) all interest was stopped it would take me 8 yrs 4 months to pay off, but hopefully things will improve financially. Once the CCCS up and running, my 1st challenge to myself will be to save a months debt money in a yr!
i'll have no credit cards, OD etc, so it will be debit card, (literally cash only).
Ou - have just decided to do one course this yr, I can't figure out student loan system, and i have £250 credit, so doing course in Social Sciences, - have to pay £450 towards it!! but have included that in debt plan and it is doable. Then this gives me the yr to sort out finance for the following yr. Just want to take baby steps with everything at mo.
DD - shes really happy shes been and got herself a new phone (bit jealous!!), she had bday + xmas money last yr, shes sensible now! gone to bed with the phone in her hand....... I had to prise it out of her hand. She has been a little angel.
Shes off on day out 2mor with Red Cross, a fun day, that do her world of gd, then we've been looking through some activities at local NT properites, so nxt week we're going pond dipping, and another day so see a house big 1908 festival, take a picnic, just petrol.
The school hols flown past, shes got just over 2 weeks to go. Got so use to having her around.
Uniform - been pretty lucky, got shoes (hush puppies) half price, mum and dad paid, always been tradition they do the school shoes.
Skirts, polo shirts, shorts, winter cardigan - got in sales bigger size.
Just need 3 sweatshirts, 2 cardis, 2 tshirts for PE, the school like ou to have logo items, but at £15 a jumper, sorry, but when they get paint stained, lost, ripped etc, supermarket here we come.
Got 2 more sets of money to come in this month, so do uniform end of mth.xx rip dad... we had our ups and downs but we’re always be family xx0 -
keep on plodding0
