Tried it, and if anything its worse than the last time I tried it. The adverts that used to run down the right of the screen are just too imposing and distracting when they start pushing their way to the middle with the fixed width.

sticky pin thing is good but i don't like the user info above the post, much prefer it to the left, makes the posts flow smoothly whereas new version seemed stunted iykwim

Hi all,

Thanks for your help with testing. The forums are quite big so although we have looked there will likely be odd glitches we haven't seen. If you see anything that looks not right please post a link here and we'll get it sorted.

Have tried it and don't like it - have compared the two side by side on the same thread - with the current version I can see 4 posts (plus the start of the next) and in the new version I can only see 3 posts (plus the start of the next).

So I'm not sure that it achieves your basic aim of getting more text on display at any one time - I think the only way to do that is to get rid of the "adverts" down the right hand side...something which I assume falls under the banner of "major re-design".
