Finally, I got all the details to make online transfers to my mortgage account. OPing will accelerate from now on:-)

Ooh jealous! I can see why you're constantly checking to see how much difference the OPs make! We can only OP sums of £500 at a time

That's the y thing, nothing showed up yet. Very frustrating.
That's my first OP apart from the regular DD.
We filled up saving account, and now I noticed all money just tend to dissappear. so I need new goal.
But I was right about one thing. The regular OP is just another bill and we don't even notice it anymore being taken ffrom us.:T

I spoke with OH this morning and we will try to OP £300 each month in addition to regular £160 OP. I will also start writing down our grocery bills, and try not to go over £100 each week, as last week I spent £300 which is ridiculous even though it included most Christmas gifts.
Keeping in mind new frugal spending, I went and bought toys for £6 for my son:-)
But I made very checheap lunch, chana daal with rice, I think it was £1.5 for 3 of us, well 4 as Ladybird got her portion in my milk anyway:-)
I also got loads of things in cupboards tha never got used up, so loads of creative cooking will follow:-) I'm really determined to start New Year as cheaply as possible, because if OH quits his job and we buy restaurant there will be no wage and loads of financial worries. My maternity finishes Dec, but it's not financially feasible for me to start working until april, when my toddler gets 15 free nursery hours.

I overpaid mortgage again this morning, on Monday I'll check the balance but we are allowed 10% each year, and for the first time we might actually make it:-)
I also finally opened the halifax reward account, as they giving £100 for the switch and the £5 monthly .
My grocery budget this month is £320, so far I'm on track. Morrisons had a £10 off if u spend £50 so we wnet with it.
Other than that, terribly anticlimatic, rainy dayes spend at home.
