    That's wonderful news Weronika! :j

So glad she finally put in an appearance for you! (And glad for you that she is a *she* - otherwise all those pink clothes....!)

I echo what SSS says - put your feet up and rest now, enjoy your bundle of joy and all the fuss - plenty of time for paying the mortgage off in a bit!:)

    Thanks everybody!

My mum is a great help and OH got extra days off now coz of easter so I can concentrate on feeding the baby - I forgot how PAINFUL it is at the beginning, but she is sucking like a champ so hopefully proper milk comes soon and it will be easier and I will be less sore. She is totally cute, keeps her head really well already and my 2yr old monkey can't stop giving her kisses:) They are both adorable (although I'm totally biased :D)
My guys just went to pick up the curtains, princess is sleeping upstairs so I got a moment to sneak up online.
I made app to register her birth on 16th, so I won't be uncomfortable sitting in the office feeling up the papers;) After that I just need to send off papers for CB and hopefully my MA would arrive as well, if not I would have to chase it up. The to do list is just never ending!

We also got big dilemma - my OH was offered a better job, with about £400 pcm more BUT hours are totally daft - 8am till 8 pm - and it's too far away to come home on lunch break like he does now. So - more money but I will have no help with kids and he will miss out on them as well. It would also mean I cannot come back to work even part time next year.
I think we'll pass this one but it gave us an idea to just start looking for another position. But the extra money is tempting I must say...

i've just thread this whole thread, i just wanted to say congratulations on your new arrival :).

also i do have a small suggestion, you seem to eb working your mortgage out of the basis that you started at £77kish when infact thats never what you we're going to be paying, instead of seeing everyday you don't pay more on it as being an £8 lose(i think you said £8 a day interest) work out how much your told mortgage is going to cost you over the 35 years, then do a count down, it will be better for your frame of mind to see your total go down than the total you owe going up.

You have to weigh up the money vs life balance. Would your family be happier with Daddy home or Daddy's money? I can guess which your little ones would choose! My other half does work rediculous hours, however, he is only in the garage/workshop in our garden so only seconds away and pops in all the time and does a lot of work once little ones in bed. After our little crisis I can definately say family time is more important than money :D
