Lunchtime????? I thought I was doing well to get dressed by Thursday :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Hi weronika, my midwife suggested no point in getting dressed to take dd to nursery when the twins were tiny just pop a coat on! Way too embarrassed to do that, but if not going out why get dressedMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

I waste a lot of money on food, figuratively and literally, sadly. One, is not me doing the shopping so we get some ridiculous things like overpriced fish fingers that nobody actually likes to eat in my house or 1 item from BOGOF promo:eek: and I still cannot bend (although the big beach ball called my belly is gone) so things are getting all moldy at the bottom shelves of the fridge:( also I got problems with appetite so I would cook things and couldn't make myself eat them...
But because all of you keep putting me to shame with all this meal planning and money saving and overall effectiveness I'll start:- grocery challenge in May. (includes more ebaying, now I sold first item)
- healthy diet and exercising in June
- July - too far in the future and I'll probably be exhausted from previous months :rotfl:

Ah, Weronika, you're doing great! I have just over 2 years between my eldest 2 and then a gap of almost 6 years before no 3 - and just over 3 years between 3 & 4. DS3 is 3 next month - and I only stopped feeding him a handful of weeks ago.....! I loved being pregnant and feeding - such a special, wonderful time! I'd have more if I could

Hi greent,
they actually did pay the big invoice:) Only the tiny little one outstanding, but I know why it wasn't paid now and I'm ok to wait.
I was feeding my firstborn till he was 18 months, and I enjoyed it too (not at the beginning)
Ladybird is feeding great from beginning, no problems there, apart from me being bit sore.
Money wise I went to morrison today and spend £30 I'm not even sure on what...nappies, youghurts, little stuff all add up.
But I'm determined to start the grocery challenge in May, I aim to stay on track with £100 per week. See how that goes....
and to gather funds to open ISA
...
oh , and must remember to find £500 for regular saver on the 1st of May

Can I just say 2 words? SLEEP DEPRIVATION:cool:
We went to hospital this afternoon, which means that once again I didn't manage to catch up on sleep. You know this advice they give new mums about resting when your newborn naps? So what I'm supposed to do to my Monkey than???
Ladybird is a champ, healthy and growing. My Monkey loves her, hugs and kisses all the time, he will even run to fetch me straight away if she's crying and I'm in the kitchen or something.OH is fantastic, he works 12hr days and still comes home at lunchtime to cook something for me, do shopping or take Monkey to the park - some days all of it:T
It's only me,miserable, sleep deprived, exhausted anyway:cool:
Moneywise, I got my MA,CTC,CB all sorted, should come first Friday of May so I will have money for Reg Saver and whats leftover will be used for food - did I mentioned going on the diet?:DDebt: [STRIKE]-£77.299 74,209[/STRIKE]-£72,860 Projected MF date(age):[STRIKE]2044(63)[/STRIKE] 2029(48)

Sleep deprivation is just the worst thing, hope you get a chance to catch up soon.
Great that you've got all the money bits sorted, so hard to find time to get anything done when they're tiny.0 -
HI Weronika
Sorry to hear about the sleep deprivation. Your DH sounds wonderful though and remember, although it doesn't feel like it, this sleeplessness stage WILL pass!
Take care xOverpay!0 -
Just a quick update, today my SO for £500 reached reg saver account, so I got no choice but be frugal for the rest of the month:D
Luckily, my son loves crepes:j
let me think... milk, 2eggs, flour, jam - that makes breakfast and supper for both of us for about a £1:money:
and I can alternate the fillings:jam, nutella, quark with sugar, apples - and he will think it's a different meal everytime:p
so, from today I'm on diet (73kg, target next week: 72kg, next month 70kg) and on less than £100 p/w grocery challenge.
Want to bet which one I will fail more miserably taking into account my energy levels at the moment?:rotfl:Debt: [STRIKE]-£77.299 74,209[/STRIKE]-£72,860 Projected MF date(age):[STRIKE]2044(63)[/STRIKE] 2029(48)
