No Money - but BIG ambitions

- On the money front, still nothing sorted, but at least the correct amount of Class2 was taken this time so I can start calling on Monday to sort my Maternity allowance finally.
- Invoices still not paid, again, will chase up Monday. I need that money to open Isa with Spanish bank as they want min £2500. I can make it only when my MA is paid in and at least one more invoice paid. Even than might be a stretch.:(
- Monday is a busy day: I have to decide on the Ladybird name as we have appointment to register her:D
- After I have her birth cert I'll fill up CB papers and send them off. Every little helps

Wow, I'm impressed you're managing to think about money so soon. Hope all is going well, sounds fab that she's over her birthweight, you're obviously doing a great job with the feeding.Mortgage Jan 2011: £208,800 April 2012: £202,100

I got moments when I think all I do is feed her and change her:p
At the same time I keep thinking about money, because of her - another couple of years and both my kids will want to go on those expensive school trips others are writing here about:rotfl:
It would be nice to be mortgage free when they are in high school.
On the MSE front I received the renewal notice for my hosting and I checked TCB and there was £60 cashback for new customers, so I wrote to billing dep directly and said if they give me this discount I'm happy to renew for next 2 years - they replied within 10min and I feel like I [STRIKE]saved[/STRIKE] earned £60 just for writing an email!

Morning Weronika, well done on your £60 hosting saving. It just goes to show 'if you don't ask, you don't get'.
You are right on the school trips, they seem to get more each year, and whilst they don't need to go on all (ours certainly don't) they do need to go to some. I never thought to open a savings jar for school trips

Thanks!!!
I seem to be on roller coaster going between
HIGH 'wow, this is so much easier 2nd time round' and
VERY LOW 'I can't do this, 2 kids is too much, why they both crying same time?!':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Ladybird was registered today, and we swing by the office of my client and he promised to pay the big invoice:j
Also my proposal get a go ahead, so I'm going to use some of the KIT days for paid work. If I manage to do it quickly I'll have money to open the ISA with required min of £2500. I probably can't put anymore into it this year, but at least something would be there.
My Maternity Allowance got sorted as well today, I get full amount, yay!
I also called tax credit to tell them they need to pay me more money now I got 2nd baby:cool:
CB papers send off as well.
Very productive day:D Magnum ice creams here I come:DDebt: [STRIKE]-£77.299 74,209[/STRIKE]-£72,860 Projected MF date(age):[STRIKE]2044(63)[/STRIKE] 2029(48)

Hi Weronika, I laughed when I read your post - bear in mind in my mind your little one was screaming its head off - what an excellent way to get customers to pay their bills. "I will be sitting here until you get the cheque book out", whilst performing a little prod to get little one screaming again :rotfl:
Well done on organising so much - it's great to get them off your list.
Plus it's early days on little one no. 2. There were days when I felt hyper organised and on the ball and others when I found it hard to get us all dressed by lunchtime. Put your feet up, have a cuppa and relax.

Tilly, that makes me feel a lot better! It's so hard in the early weeks as you spend so much time feeding (I still do actually and my DS is 6 months!) Enjoy it though, I have a 3 year age gap and do wish I'd had them a little closer together. Hope you are feeling ok in yourself.June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
Hi, there are 3 years between mine too and whilst I can see that when younger it may have been easier to have them closer together, now they are great friends and for brother and sister, that's pretty good
I think feeding them is the most beautiful thing in the world so enjoy the time you have xxxxxxxxx
