You can find out by doing dummy quotes online with and without the claim in your history and seeing the difference it makes to the cost.0

Is there a section for car insurance after you've received a DWI? Mine went up dramatically after my DWI, not surprising I suppose.0

I am in the UK for 7 odd months on a project and hold an International Driving Permit.
If I buy a car how easy is it to get an insurance on an IDP. I have had the Indian license for 11 years with no claims.

As a broker you'd expect them to be more expensive, but in fact he has just saved me over £500 on home and car insurance! Now looking at my sons insurance. Very knowledgable and also competitive! No waiting on the phone either, i wish id done this earlier!! if you want his contact details, pm me!
Your a newbie and both your posts are spam.

Two non fault accidents which I have declared on new car insurance quote and I have to pay more than £120 extra per year! One, my boss scraped the side of my car when I was parked at work and the other somebody reversed into me, and I'm considered more of a risk because other people on the roads can't watch where they're going! Yes... Rant over.....!!!0

Dear forum readers!
I do hope somebody can help me! I have just return from an assignment in Belgium that lasted for almost 3 years. There I had a private car and I got the letter from the bank in English that states my no claims. BUT it seems this is not valid in the UK!
Does anybody know where I can get car insurance where they will except my EU no claims? In total with my EU no claims I have 6 years. I do not fancy paying £1000 for my insurance for several years!
Thanks a lot!!0 -
See if a local broker (not swinton) can help - either by getting your ncd accepted or by finding you an introductory discount to reflect your claim free history.0

Just a quick post to let potential Tesco car insurance customers know that they are no longer giving clubcard points on a policy. Just got the renewal letter through today and it states it very clearly but in fairly small print.
I know it's not a lot in terms of monetary value, but I know it's something I always take into consideration when getting quotes, with cashback etc.
Every little counts!Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These
(he points to some plastic cows on the table) are very small; those (pointing at some cows out of the window) are far away...:D:D

Can anyone recommend a car insurance company that doesn't charge just to change your address on the policy? Just been charged £35 by Hastings Direct. I will not be renewing with them. It's extortion, and time these companies were investigated for ridiculous charges.0
