Happy hump day everyone! We are now on the correct side of the hump :D

I will need to pop out to the supermarket that starts with an M tonight, getting breadmaker withdrawal. Other than that, managed to spend a trifling £1 today, so feeling quite virtuous.

Two types of bread to be made this evening, my first ever white loaf is first.

Dinner was a squash, sweetcorn and chicken risotto (Sunday's chicken is now gone!) Perfect autumn carbs.
  • Funny you say that, I did get the hump today! Grrrr.

    Most men wouldn't complain :p

Not the best day at work - I got a lot done - but felt very grumpy doing it

    • NSD today
    • HM bread rising in the bread maker (the white loaves rise so much better!)
    • Will make a packed lunch shortly

Currently changing some water in the aquarium, will relax with a little  and some spreadsheets once that's done.
  • Your chicken and squash rissotto has inspired me. Going to use LO Pulled Pork and Onions and some butternut squash that's hiding at the back of the fridge in a rissotto tonight.

Work's doing my head in too...glad its Friday and I have two days of not having to listen to complete b******t.

That sounds really nice MCI - the pulled pork probably won't need much time to reheat and you can probably use a wee bit less seasoning :)

Being cool, I'm actually really excited at the concept of this meal (the pulled pork you told me about).

Sitting at work on my lunch break enjoying a splitting headache :( I thought it might have been dehydration, but I've drunk enough water to sink the Bismarck! On a positive note, I've got a formula working in a performance reporting spreadsheet that features 13 nested IFs :rotfl:

Out of work slightly early, so will get groceries and then we're having HM pizza for dinner (using the bread maker for dough). We don't have any pizza trays, so I'll probably just use a shallow roasting tin and go for rectangular pizza. Anchovies and brie for me, brie, mushrooms and red onions for Mrs E.
