Had a nice morning, paying a (brief) visit to the farmers' market. We got some tasty bread and a hot smoked duck breast. Dinner will be toasted walnut bread with homemade tomato salsa, wild rocket, Greek olive oil and thinly sliced smoked duck breast
Also planning on baking some lemon glazed shortbread for some family members who are popping over after our driving lessons tomorrow afternoon.
*So* much housework to do before then  Think I'll have a MFW style list to encourage myself!- [STRIKE]Money shuffle[/STRIKE]

Ed your dinner sounds yummy. This forum has very interesting eating habits, theres the likes of me, cant cook wont cook and then the other end of the spectrum--- hot smoked duck breast....... Seriously hope that rubs off too.
Have spent all day putting lining paper up with DH as cant afford to replaster DD2 bedroom ( promised to redecorate for birthday) so your day sounds so much better than mine. Always do my chores sunday but fortunately I have 3 children (read slaves with chore lists) to help, on the negative, they cause most of the mess!Morgage till Nov 30 GOAL MFW Sept 2016Aug 11 - £100k Aug 2016.... Marry me Edinburgher :smileyheaA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Hahaha - I should point out again that the shortbread sucked a little. Perfectly ok with a cup of tea, but I won't be feeding it to guests
Just got back from a driving lesson and am absolutely wired  I had a few problems with my clutch/biting point and the instructor had to stop me onceHe says I'm not doing badly (8 hours in), but I'm impatient as always!
Feeling a bit frazzled, does anyone have any funny driving stories to cheer me up?
£1 payments to OP Pot and EF - doing a sum total of naff all housework today. Might get a few Christmas presents from Amazon, we still have a £25 balance from refunds etc. to spend.
Prices updated on Amazon Marketplace - think I have a few DVD boxsets that I can list this afternoon and will pester Mrs E to see what she has to flog. Think there's a few books/series etc. that we now own electronically that there's no need to duplicate.0 -
Fortunately for me, I passed my driving test in the days of yore when it was easy-peasy. Just had to do drive around, do a 3-point-turn, wee bit of reverse parking, slam on the brakes, give rough estimates of stopping distances and then look at some pretty pictures of some signs and make wild guesses on what they actually meant..... (still don't know:D)February13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)

Decided not to buy cake in the end - I currently have a honey loaf in the oven made with honey we brought back from Kefalonia0

Atta boy:D
Although it would have been slightly more impressive had the honey been made by bees you had hand-reared, and sourced from hives located in your garden....still better than BUYING cake so that deserves a :TFebruary13 - £74990 (or thereabouts)
