That's what I do Ed, spend on the card to get cashback/points but have the cash to pay it off. The problem arises if I don't pay it off as I spend each item, forget which account the money is in and then end up with a whopping bill at the end of the month. I really do try to pay each item off as I spend on it to reduce my own confusion. It's free money spending on the card (i.e. in terms of cashback or vouchers) so spending on a debit card makes me feel like I'm missing out! (like in Aldi for example!)

Hope you feel less sick later :)
  • Feeling a bit sick this morning, apparently you're not meant to eat Pringles at 10 p.m.

    Really! Arn't you!

No seriously, hope you feel better later.

Don't worry about the driving lesson...it happens, it can happen more if you are tired or stressed and then it seems so much worse. It will get better.:)

Felt a bit better by the time I got to work, so ended up eating my lunch for breakfast, followed by a pile of carp for lunch :o

Had quite a positive day at work, in meetings, involved, borderline engaged.

Then came home to a dead fish :( One of my eques corydoras was sitting at the bottom of the tank and another is swimming in a wonky manner. Not pleased - don't see to have much luck with corydoras, despite them being supposedly easy to keep. Can't figure it out, they get a high quality varied diet and my water quality is very good (tested twice a week).

Had to take a couple of items *off* Amazon. They had gone sub £1 and it costs more to post than it does to sell at that level. Music Magpie may be getting a package of rubbish to sell on Amazon for me in the near future ;)

On a more positive note, :xmastree: presents have started arriving in the post!

That's ok ammonite, I just hope the other one that appears out of sorts recovers. It's a fascinating hobby, but there's a lot to learn/know and it keeps me on my toes :)

Will need to order some more prezzies today, Amazon is calling :xmastree:

    wahoo for christmas !!! :D

I had three gold fish for years and years and loved them. Got two more and they didn't last the year. They both died within a few days of each other - I suspect the 2nd one died of a broken heart, that's what I like to think anyway. Poor little mites. Anyway - there's a bit more to keeping tropical fish I imagine :D

    Enjoy your shopping :)

No more dead fish, a busy day at work, bought some Christmas prezzies for my Mum and I haven't lost my credit card cashback! So that's nearly £70 I'll be getting in 6 months or so :)

Might buy some more prezzies tonight, Mrs E is out for a work dinner and I'm just sitting around being lazy and listening to music. Good times...

Edit: Got presents for brother and SIL, might need to add a few items to my own wishlist now!

I'm impressed at your present buying..... My DH doesn't really get too involved, I just have to consult every now and then so that he doesn't feel totall unawares of what we've bought...

Thanks lulabelle - internet shopping is very easy (even for us chaps)!

Like all men, I am terrified of actual shops :D
