I'm ashamed to say it, but I don't
Without going into a big complainypants recap, I applied for my job under the belief that it was very different from what it was, since then I've been trying my hardest to be a square peg in a round hole. It has to change, I have refreshed my CV today and will be applying for a new job tomorrow morning

Hi ed,
((hugs)) I have to say i have had a few jobs that were described as one thing and turned out to be something else  It is so annoying - especially having left a job / turned down other offers. What is good then is that there are jobs for you to apply for :T I am looking for a new job - it should be a priority but as i'm in my final year of uni that has to be my priority, then i travel a minimum of 2 hours a day - just to and from work, then there's the 8.5 hours spent in work without personal computer usage so i don't have time then to look for a new job either + life gets in the way too - this is all sounding like excuses isn't it?- to be honest i'm struggling a little as to where to look
I've had jobs but want a career (jobs i've had talked of programs for this, etc. but then of course didn't, its not just that i'm arriving at this now) My situation is though that as i want something different to what i'm doing now it is quite daunting without the specific skills and qualifications places are looking for
Its good though that you are sending your cv off and that there are vacancys for what you want to do :T
I'm glad this time someone else asked the question re. ERE i was like 'oh no i can't ask ANOTHER question' :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
It is wednesday - i'm off to read all the helpful info. you popped on here for me the other dayit'll make a change from all the study

I gave up AJM, moved onto 3 mile/5k jogs already, seem to be going pretty well (apart from slight ankle crunch tonight on a piece of scrap metal!)
Don't think anything's too badly sprained, have full motion, just a bit ouchy.0 -

I don't blame you for moving on, run/walking can get a bit tedious.
Make sure you don't push your ankle, if it is sore and doesn't get worse while running that is fine, if it does then stop. I have enough experience of pushing through injuries for all of us!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1530/£2700

It's actually the side of my foot, still sore, bought a freezable gel pad thing from Boots that looks promising. Will be resting, icing, compressing and repeating for the rest of the evening.- Sent job application

A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

My foot feels *so* much better today. I'm not usually one to recommend products or goods, but nothing has worked as well as this cold compress from Boots. I am extremely pleased - I have been 'rolling' my foot 3-4 times a year since I was c. 12 years old, this has been so helpful :j
